Yep! That was back when she still looked healthy, though. Not sure what happened to her since.

But what if the GP gets burned off. I don't think it will be working for a while even if it is still on.:shrugs:

If Alex is true to his word and he really is a low maintenance guy, I will win out. Ha! But of course I will share. I will have him manscape for you.:sick: But when it grows back, he is mine.

Alex as a man has been getting ripped by many women (his base audience) for letting KB take these hits, walking in front of her, ignoring in public, etc...We already know that there have been a huge amount of PR corrections. Seems like everything we say is corrected. So again, what else could he do. Either way, boyfriend or PR strategy, he had to be there. That area is to murky for me to make a concrete decision yet, re his support or his job.

As for Straw Dogs. This was a bad strategy. We have been saturated with them as a couple. The line has been blurred from them as actors and them as a couple. A lot of people are going to be looking for the chemistry that is non-existent in the few pictures we have of them together. While looking for that chemistry, it is going to take the focus off the acting and onto Alex and KB. So then, when you get to the rape scene (which is appallingly horrific) all I would see is Alex rapping his girlfriend. That to me is completely repugnant. They tried too hard to push the KB/AS love story and they deliberately caused questions and examinations with the are they/aren't they stuff. So now the focus won't be on the movie. It will be on them. This was a stupid strategy. Acting or no, that is just vile. That is supposed to be his girl.

Actors who are real life couples traditionally don't last after controversial sex scenes. I feel this film will get some acclaim from the industry but it will be shunned by the masses.

This film makes me think of Eyes Wide Shut. Critical Acclaim, Real life couple in taboo sex scenes, and lots of controversy prior to the release. Soon after film Tom and Nicole divorced:thinkin:

Good point! I think Alex will continue to get good reviews and acclaim as he has been since this monstrosity was first seen by anyone. KB, not so sure. Her reviews have been mixed: in the range of horrible to blah. She is not a good leading lady to have in a film. And I think they keep pushing back the dates because no one knows what to do with it. Had the Warrior's Way been more successful, I think we would see a bigger push for SD. As it is...I don't think they know what to do or how to address this issue. KB is a hard sell after that Superman debacle.

How strange is that? He is able to cuddle a female friend(?) but not able to cuddle his girl(?)friend.

Your question is the same question that most of us here have. As crazy as JJ gets sometimes, they are asking the same question. And really, it is a fair question to ask.

Sometimes I hate low maintenance guys. :pout:
BUT Alex is blonde. :graucho: I think it can't be as worst as Ian who has dark hair if you know what I mean. So I think I could handle it even if he refuses to manscape. I'm up for sharing. :yahoo:

I'm still interested in knowing what happened with KB and Lisa. On another forum, we talked about how KB knows how to play men but most smart women can see through it. I wonder if Lisa suddenly woke up and realized she was only part of a plan to infiltrate Alex's inner circle. I guess we'll find out if their friendship is really over when Coachella rolls around.

About the Nylon party, I also wonder where Arlene and Helena Christensen were. Aren't they suppose to be her bf(s)f?

This from the NY Post today...Kate Bosworth had two men on her arms at Nylon Magazine's dinner at Hemingway's in LA. The svelte starlet walked in..with her boyfriend Alexander Skarsgard and her father, Harold Bosworth. A spy overheard her mother tell a friend that neither parent wanted Kate to leave the house wearing such a short Dolce & Gabbana dress, but she was determined to wear it.... Wonder if Daddy was footing the bill for that party..maybe that was why so few people in attendance.

Beige obviously doesn't like to listen to her parents. Interesting. :thinkin: So she may also not like to listen to "other people" in her life. I'm making excuses again for him. Sorry.

I love the "spys " and "close friends" that talk to the mags

I wonder if these spys at the party saw any PDA of some sort at the party, but I think no news paper really cares about the party I don't think they will write much about it. Ther hasn't been alot of press about the partyy just 3-4 articles and some blurbs

I'm going back to bed I don't think I'm making any sense. Py

Hell, with all the time she spends with his friends, you would have thought that at least Bjorne would come, but this was clearly an oddly put together gathering. To not even get Bilson or someone who she's in an upcoming movie with to go is even weirder. I got nostalgic for Lisa L seeing the pic Nixxx put up, it has been a mighty long while...

Honestly, they should have just labeled this thing "Alexander Skarsgard's dinner with Nylon" and not pretended they weren't going to use the hell out of him for this. Yes, it is totally not a surprise he was there, they do date, yes, her parents were there, (no pics? she's been pic'd with them before, are they in the witness protection program now?), etc, but her PR folks are using him majorly to get the gossips to pick this up. Because the rest of the party list wouldn't attract a mention in any of these columns without using him to get it. She doesn't have much else going on, obv has to flog the jewelry thing (although they might want to talk to the real designers and get them to not tweet about how Cher/KB are using their pieces for the line) and wouldn't get coverage otherwise, but gawd, give it a rest. None of the other Nylon gatherings needed this much push, the other cover girls had more to bring to the table, literally and figuratively I guess. Is this supposed to make her seem more likeable? Family talk, all her friends around, gee, I'm modest and this stuff makes me uncomfortable? I can't tell what the objective really is here.
