It seemed like just yesterday until Thursday or so..now it does seem like a really long time ago. :o(
I've just been able to checkout the Jewelmint timeline: a couple of thoughts.The game is afoot Dr Watson and Skars is part of it. I've no doubt Kate is the more comfy of the two with the PR but to swipe her with the majority of the blame,without giving Alex a clip on the ear,is very naive now after seeing that.
Its very subtle but the allowance of his name with both her and a tackymint mention, speaks volumes as there is no way he wouldn't have sanctioned it. Its no secret i'm no fan of Kate, but in a way he is letting her take the brunt of this and needs to man up.
Sometimes a photo is just a photo. Sometimes he really is pissed at the paps. And sometimes, he's playing the game as well as,if not better than,Kate herself is

^^Oh he is definitely apart of the fame...er...I meant, game. He has been from day one. No one is this blind. And his name would not keep being used without his permission. And those little mention/non-mentions she keeps doing of Alex in her interviews...he is aware. No doubt. From Broken Bells to that little JM blog post...Clearer now more than ever.
Absolutely agree with this especially with the bolded parts. No one can be that naive and blind.
OK, he's part of the PR but I mean he must've noticed it didn't turn out to his advantage. Why still keep going on with it? Unless that's what he wanted which would be sad. I didn't rate him as the "famous and no credibility" guy.
Who knows what the motivations are. It all seems more skewed to KB anyway. And his actions towards her in public have many confused, too. Some of this stuff is too convenient. And too obvious at that. Either way, he needs to man up and play his part. Or man up and protect his girl. She is taking a lot of hits and it is not entirely her fault. He is getting more exposure and being talked about more. I would wager that a good deal of it is in relation to her. She has no problem name dropping. It is what keeps here relevant. The "relationship" is real. That much I believe. But if he really wanted privacy, he would not have carried on like he has with her for the past year. And she would not be using his name, tangentially or otherwise to draw attention to Foolmint. IMO.

If he really wanted privacy he would've taken her aside and talked one or two words with her about this. This way he somehow confirms that he agrees with her behaviour or at least doesn't mind her name-dropping.
And since we now determined that he doesn't mind he could at least man up and behave like a boyfriend in public and hold her hand or something. We can take it, Alex. We saw worst.
Exactly. There is wanting privacy. And then there is drawing attention to yourself and your "private life." This is not complicated. At all. I agree. He is the reason for his own problems. If he doesn't like the press, then he needs to stop baiting them. Act normal and you will have a "normal" life. Not hard to figure out. If you make a spectacle out of things, there will be a spectacle. Showing up at the same party and ignoring each other for "privacy" is making a spectacle. Unless he really doesn't like her and she just won't leave.
So, right now I'm studying Swedish and learning a little German (which makes Swedish heck of a lot easier) and reading some critical essays on Swedish Culture. (This is all a part of my PhD work. Anyway. As I was reading about Alcohol consumption studies, I kept thinking about this..

as you now I have not posted since last year the thread as moved quick and I have missed alot I see. I very rarely post now. But I will check in from time to time
Are alexander and kate officially boyfriend and girlfriend now and serious? and none of there date outing's has nothing to do with promoting straw dogs or jewel mint?

I think it is a little of both. They are seeing each other in some capacity, I think. Alex has still not said anything at all. And there is Straw Dogs (which I will not see) and Jewelmint to promote. So, I think it is a little of both, as always. I do expect the casual Staw Dog mentions to increase the closer it gets to the movie premiere.hello gatorgurl how are you? I still enjoy your posts

I really didn't catch that. I mean, they never talk about it. When does it come out?
