hiya gals,I'm actually laughing at all this now because Alex to me is beginning to look like he has the upper hand in this: both the publicity and the relationship. Kudos to him for that. Hollywood is a tough town. Lets just say I think he has learnt the game exceedingly well since 2009.

I have another question for those who are "in the known".
I just started watching "Deadwood" on DVD and I noticed James Parks (Mack Rattray) and William Sanderson (Sheriff Bud Dearborne ) in the first episode. Alex was in HBO's "Generation Kill" and, of course, "True Blood".
My question is: Is it common for actor's to "stick" with a network like this and, if so, are they then obligated to plug upcoming releases, like Alex did with "The Pacific"?

The movie is off the charts and Alex is glorious in all his Swedish hotness, not to mention that his performance blew me away! I don't know about you guys, but I just about lose it when he plays vulnerable scenes.

So now that has me curious TBster - where were the Larsons at the concert? If she was hanging out with Lisa, you would have thought the Swede posse would have all gone to that gig. I do really wonder what has happened between that foursome.
I agree Free, I think he can still be a good person and nice to fans, co-stars, good friend, etc and a businessperson trying to make his career. He's not that naive or young in the business and he certainly has watched the impact of his popularity. Manipulating his image and generally being a good guy aren't mutually exclusive. It's frustrating to watch when it gets a bit blatant.
