^^ I like either really short, with neck porn...or the longer shaggy from Om Sara/Cuppen. My least favorite is the mid-length, severely parted, too much hair gel that's been going sometimes in recent months. I lol everytime the hair gel fails a little bit, and his cowlick springs up in the back...It's a cross between awwwww and Wow, he really needs less product or a woman to fix his hair.

Average hair groth is about 1 cm per month (about half an inch). So even if he buzzcuts it, being a male, it will grow about 2 cm/1 inch by the time TB starts? I should eat lots of jello (thinking about what it's made of is gross, but definitely helps with hair growth).

But still doesn't explain why it NEEDS to be brown, his natural hair is dirty blond! GAAAH!:nono::smash::rtr:

@CalypsoAce I'm totally with you on the hair gel. It needs to go. It also makes his hair look pasty and darker.

You can tell he was carrying more weight in the straw dogs photos. His face and chest wow. I like the bulkier look. And the longer hair photo is very cute but a bit boyish. He looks very manly with the buzz and the heavier body. It's funny no matter what look is your favorite everyone hates his hair this season. It's just awful. My all time fav photo of him is the tails for whales photo he had taken for Kristens charity. I love his hair in that one. I'd find it but am on a handheld and I can barely type.

His hair only looks darker because of the gel they use in TB. And also most shots are inside and at night, many in candlelight. It's the same dirty blond it's always been.

When they had the Nazi flashback, his hair was lighter since it wasn't gelled. They didn't have gel in WWII.

But it was obviuosly dyed, whether just for a few hours or longer, for all of the fashion photo shoots he did and certainly for both the details and the LA magazine shoot. And evev Alan ball answered a question about his hair being darker. So gels aside, and I agree they make hair darker, he still was a bit more than dirty blond. But yes the earlier blondness was fun with chemicals blond not natural. But hey, it's obvious most of us want a blond Viking Erik strutting around.

Good post... maybe we can speculate more and differently after getting more info from Jayne100.

In that Elle interview, he stated that people go out in HW to network, where as in Sweden/ Europe people go out to have fun. I think that is a loaded comment.



Good post and as an outsider- good way to put into perspective the scheme of things. Being physically and emotionally exhausted is quite possible. It seems that he has been working consistently without alot of time off (in general) to re-coup-- it seems it's always mixed in with work; add the "intrusion" to his private life and relationship responsibilities (whatever they maybe).... With all of this, in my opinion, he has demonstrated a person of good character and personally responsibility... he could have behaved alot differently... I know we have nit picked some of his behavior and discussed his drinking etc, etc... still there are others in HW that have shown the world their arses when dealing with stress and the chaos that comes with being popular with the fans.



I think most of us have discussed this and thought :wtf: that's :nogood: what he said or :shrugs: in confusion... but what you described above is what he stated several years ago, in what he looked for in a mate. I know prefrences can change with time, etc, etc.. but from we gathered KB is not someone very independant (even though she claims to be).. who knows what he was thinking!!



Here in south louisiana we too are famous for our crayfish boils/ parties (during season). More often than not, the only additional food is the potatoes and corn that are boiled with the crayfish. We do not sit down to eat.. everyone stands at a table (tables are put together with a trash can in the middle) and the drinking beverage for adults is BEER and loud Zydeco/ cajun music playing in the background. Besides eating and drinking we play outdoor games.

FYI, southern louisiana is an alcohol cunsuming state. The drinking age/ law changed to 21 approximately 12 years ago.. it was 18. We have drive through daquiri bars. A person is cited with an open container (outside).. if it's in a bottle. In the bars... when leaving, there is a table for styrofoam cups, so that you can pour your beer into to bring with you. Of course alcoholism and drunk driving are big issues here...

Maybe we should visit each other, to sample how each culture celebrates crayfish season!!:D



Let's hope that's what's happening now... with the lack of pics and everything. My hope is that he is getting the "desired working/ private life" that he talks about. Since following him.. this is almost the longest we have gone without any fan or pap pics.



I know I may seem immature at times (my escape from my reality); however I am a Supervisor working in a not for profit social service/ mental health facility.. I experience ^^ all the time from employees and clients... I can relate



Tell us what he is reading, from what I gathered alot of us read alot... we can talk about what he's reading, etc, etc

Let's see if I can add to my previous comment. The comments I read were from TB cast members stating that "Alex's trailer is pretty busy". It was Carrie Preston, the actress that plays the red headed waitress, and if you can believe posts from JJ others have commented that he is a flirt. I do remember readng a comment that he was seen at a Hotel in LA, with a woman, and he seemed very affectionate. That was earlier this year. Most of the posts are from other celebrity sites that different people add. So they may not all be true. I do think though that he may of been seeing KB, but that does not make them exclusive and that the posts about him being with other women may not be false.

We've seen shots of him outside and his hair looked lighter. It's possible that they put in a rinse for the fashion shoots, but it still just looks like a lighting issue to me.
