Yes, things are sad for her when more people recognize Ellen Barkin or Ellyn Burstyn than her. I saw one tweet that sort of referred to her as "that blonde chick from the surf pic". Sadness. She did probably go door to door and intro'd herself.

Hmm...that gives me two reasons to see Battleship: Alex (duh!!) and Liam Neeson. Loved him as an actor for years. Schindler's List, Nell...just saw him as some bada$$ ex-CIA agent rescuing his kidnapped daughter in France in Taken. The plot was lame, but Liam was awesome. Definitely a great actor...he can carry a crap movie and intrigue you to listen to what he has to say and commands your attention. I guess what I'm saying is, he can make a horrible movie seem good...until you really think about how lame the plot was lol Damn that Peter Berg for casting him...but at least I know why he did.

Quit telling us you're seeing them if you won't give up the goods!! esp if you're sitting in the lobby as it appears you are, waiting to see them...grr.

You never know she may show up in Ha in a few days, so we maybe all speculating that its over, when it really isnt. I have read in other posts that it was an open relationship and both were seeing other people, so if she did see an old boyfriend in Boston then that would not of broke them up. If anything, I think they are two completely different people with completely different values. Since they never confirmed a relationship, I guess only time will tell.

About him feeling bad about not treating her better, I don't know. For a guy who can seemingly make friends wherever he goes, I have to wonder what she was doing that made him reject her that way and what he was saying to her to make her stay. Maybe the friendship was better than the relationship. There are endless possibilities of maybes. But, before I decided to write this book, I was just going to say that for a guy who is really social and loves to make friends, the loss of a relationship, any relationship, might hurt in some way.

Good post... maybe we can speculate more and differently after getting more info from Jayne100.

In that Elle interview, he stated that people go out in HW to network, where as in Sweden/ Europe people go out to have fun. I think that is a loaded comment.

He had to be so worn out by the end that I'm surprised he looked nearly that good at the Emmys...!

Good post and as an outsider- good way to put into perspective the scheme of things. Being physically and emotionally exhausted is quite possible. It seems that he has been working consistently without alot of time off (in general) to re-coup-- it seems it's always mixed in with work; add the "intrusion" to his private life and relationship responsibilities (whatever they maybe).... With all of this, in my opinion, he has demonstrated a person of good character and personally responsibility... he could have behaved alot differently... I know we have nit picked some of his behavior and discussed his drinking etc, etc... still there are others in HW that have shown the world their arses when dealing with stress and the chaos that comes with being popular with the fans.

I think most of us have discussed this and thought :wtf: that's :nogood: what he said or :shrugs: in confusion... but what you described above is what he stated several years ago, in what he looked for in a mate. I know prefrences can change with time, etc, etc.. but from we gathered KB is not someone very independant (even though she claims to be).. who knows what he was thinking!!

Here in south louisiana we too are famous for our crayfish boils/ parties (during season). More often than not, the only additional food is the potatoes and corn that are boiled with the crayfish. We do not sit down to eat.. everyone stands at a table (tables are put together with a trash can in the middle) and the drinking beverage for adults is BEER and loud Zydeco/ cajun music playing in the background. Besides eating and drinking we play outdoor games.

FYI, southern louisiana is an alcohol cunsuming state. The drinking age/ law changed to 21 approximately 12 years ago.. it was 18. We have drive through daquiri bars. A person is cited with an open container (outside).. if it's in a bottle. In the bars... when leaving, there is a table for styrofoam cups, so that you can pour your beer into to bring with you. Of course alcoholism and drunk driving are big issues here...

Maybe we should visit each other, to sample how each culture celebrates crayfish season!!:D

Let's hope that's what's happening now... with the lack of pics and everything. My hope is that he is getting the "desired working/ private life" that he talks about. Since following him.. this is almost the longest we have gone without any fan or pap pics.

I know I may seem immature at times (my escape from my reality); however I am a Supervisor working in a not for profit social service/ mental health facility.. I experience ^^ all the time from employees and clients... I can relate

Yes, the AD has a twitter under twitter.com/sheri_the_AD - she was the one who said 75% of the shoot is in one house. So maybe they were getting the outside stuff done quickly to move to the house where they didn't need permits.

How long is Alex expected to be in Hawaii?

My hubby is heading over to Waikiki in first week of October for an outrigger paddle race and I wish I had decided to go with him!!!!!!!!!!! Bummer, I could have "run" into Alex in the lobby of th ***** Tower!

I might be going against the grain but I am so not getting my hopes up that KB is out of the picture. There is no solid proof so I am waiting it out to see if she turns up in Hawaii in a couple of weeks
