Love Liam Neeson, but this movie sounds weirder and weirder. Do they even have a plot? How can the lineup still be so....uncertain? I am at a loss. How can they be filming already and the cast is still TBA?
I love Liam Neeson too. This is the weirdest mix of people in a movie though. Hopefully the end product is good for Alex's sake.
To annoy me? Waste my time? Lol. No really, half the really stupid one are in there for school reading (example- looking for Jane Austen by Charlotte Bronte. Or Pride and Pre-justice. Death of a Mockingbird. I could go on.) The other half are just... bizarre. One person asked me if we sold sheets. Like... bed sheets. And people LOVE to describe the books. I'm looking for this book. I saw it on display a month or so ago, it had a girl with a flower on it and it was about living in the south.
My favorite- a lady who argued with me that the fictional book "Widow of the South" (which is about a confederate wife) was a nonfiction book written by a true confederate widow, and she knows because she saw her talking about the book on TV. I mean... too stupid to function.
To tie this in to AS- I've recognized most of the books he's been pictured carrying just by the images on them, I was just too shy to post and say what they were. I've been in the book business entirely too long.
I'm convinced some of these characters are dead people and serving as moral consciences here (unfortunately I'm getting worried Alex is one of them given we haven't seen him above deck yet). Which means a quick and dirty sound stage shoot in moody lighting as they help young Taylor battle the aliens, sigh.
By this article, from Hollywood Insider at EW.com, he's going to be commanding a ship.

It is still a bit strange that there are no tweets about him anywhere. Meanwhile, people are tweeting about KB walking down the street. What gives???
That makes sense. Although, some of the tweets about KB are from people who did not even realize who she was. That is pretty funny.Lots of stars in Hawaii. Not so many in Rochester, MI. In addition to the fact Demi Moore is also there which is drawing attention...and apparently no one is picking up on our silent pleas to spot and share photos.

Liam Neeson is joining Battleship. He is a great actor. But when I think about Tom Arnold, Rhianna, and Brooklyn Decker I still don't know what to think about this movie.
