OK. But explain the cast parties and TB parties. Also, KB has not been A-list for a while. Her movies are not that successful and she is not a bankable actor. This is not my bias talking but honesty. Christina Ricci was not there because she is not a bankable actress. It is pretty hard to compare Angelina Jolie to Kate Bosworth. (Please don't take offense. I am not trying to be smart or snarky.) I am not sure that her absence at the emmys is a big deal but I do believe that the absence of photos of the two of them is as well as her absence at the after parties is. Not even a month ago, there were pictures of her walking her dog or him going to the grocery store. Why the sudden change?

I guess what I meant was that she would go to the GG parties to try to elevate herself and look like she was a peer to various film stars that are higher on the food chain (similarly she goes to the Vanity Fair Oscar party every year) and if he is her entry ticket, awesome, he is smoking hot, she does not want to go without a guy and she wanted everyone to know they were involved. re: the Emmy's - it's also possible HBO told him to keep the focus on the show this time. Maybe they thought she hogged attention at the two other TB events and wanted to make sure Anna Paquin was front and center.

re: no pap pictures, she hasn't been in LA to get photographed wearing super on trend clothes that can run in a fashion feature, those will start up again when she gets back to LA, that is how she stays relevant and that's why she and Cher are joined at the hip. The photos where they were identifying every item she was wearing started way before AS and will continue after, no matter how unpopular she gets unless she stops carrying Alexander Wang bags and wearing Isabel Marant boots.

But! Like I said, I hope she has met the true (relationship) death, I am no fan, just not going to celebrate until I am sure the coast is clear.

Yes, I think there's a line between not wanting to talk about your relationship and letting the other person get blasted/bombarded if it's not true which makes me wonder about this whole thing. If they reappear together, and it wouldn't surprise me if she throws every scrawny ounce she has at that goal, she does look even more pathetic than we've been slagging her off for being over these last few months. This is way worse than just the walking ten yards ahead photos. And I'm sure that Monday am there were definitely calls to the publicist to say what the hell since they weren't together at any after parties. So yep, plenty of time to do a public repair if needed.

Actually, the fact that nothing was done to salvage KB's reputation over the US magazine thing (aside from the limp denial by her rep) gives me more hope that it's over than the lack of Emmy's attendance does, if there was ever a time to do something, that was it.

I agree here. The lack of attendance at the emmys is small in comparison to your partner getting trashed by the press and public opinion again. If he was going to do something, it would have been about that.

I think that he is enjoying the lack of paps following him now. He seems to be such a private person and judging by the look on his face those times he was papped, he did not like it. My hope is that he notices the difference: with KB, papped: without her, no-pap.

It is completely possible that HBO requested this. However, with respect to PR, it is an awkward move. Especially since Ted C and his strong desire to telepathically project a gay/bi Askars. The gay rumors won't die.

I think that I would hate to be the PR person for KB and AS. That has got to be a monumentally stressful job.

that so true i noticed something in the last pictures of him arriving at LAX. at first he looked annoyed but later he actually smiled for them that a first in how long he has done that and you can see his body language in those photos and in the Emmys he looked more relaxed i think more than anything he looked tired and dissapointed in the fact he put effort in the relationship to KB to have him but she did this i strongely think that she did cheat and the only reason she went to all the awards shows is to follow her in the first place. but i dont think about the whole PR move from HBO if that was the case he woud have gone alone at all no Bjorn with him either and it was about their relationship she would gone only to the after parties and she didnt went either so to me nothing add up but ill say this he looks more relaxed and happy at the Emmys that i have seen in a long time

I do not believe that HBO requested that KB stay away, or to keep it low key. If that was the case they would of been done at the premiere earlier this year. You never know she may show up in Ha in a few days, so we maybe all speculating that its over, when it really isnt. I have read in other posts that it was an open relationship and both were seeing other people, so if she did see an old boyfriend in Boston then that would not of broke them up. If anything, I think they are two completely different people with completely different values. Since they never confirmed a relationship, I guess only time will tell.

I always remember in some movie when I was a kid hearing that women shouldn't wear white pants after labor day?! It's like a fashion faux pas? For some reason I always think of that when I hear about labor day!!

It's a shame that you guys are heading into winter now....I just love the warm weather and don't know how some of you guys survive the freezing months! But I have never seen snow in my entire life so I guess I am not use to it!

It was the rule long ago. I remember hearing the line in the Kathleen Turner movie Serial Mom...as she beats a woman to death with a payphone "Never wear white shoes after Labor Day!!!" *Sigh* There really is no such rule in fashion anymore, as almost anything goes... Except for suede ankle boots with no socks

And no shame in winter here. It's my favorite season. Bring on the snow! It gives charm and beauty to this rusty old town. I think my goal will be to make a Skarsgard snowman...appropriately 6'4" in height.

It does seem so pretty! But that's in the movies I suppose!? My husband and I always say that we want to go to New Zealand to try snow skiing but every winter we find ourselves going to Europe or Hawaii! We just can't stay away from the beach, we are hopeless and NZ is only like 2 hours away on a plane.

When we were in the UK a couple of years ago we went to Bath. It was summer and I swear it wasn't any warmer than 7 degrees which is about 45 degrees fahrenheit and I thought I was going to die!

I don't think I would enjoy the Swedish winters - even if I did have ASkars to keep me warm! Ha ha!

What?! No shame in winter! That's the most beautiful season, and I'm actually looking forward to the snow now; kind of tired of warm weather now!
I hope we get a winter as good as last year, here in Sweden. We had like 1 meter snow, and between -20C and -30C between December and April. It was wonderful!!!

I like the idea of an Alex snow man. I hope you get a lot of snow, so you can do it!

I would enjoy everything if Ale kept me warm! Especially Swedish winter!

Kate and Orlando did the New Year's celebration in Stockholm, with Stellan and his family. They were even photographed at the same ICA, as Kate and Alex this summer. Seems like ICA at Folkungagatan, is THE place for celebrity spoting!

Aha, I was so tired when I read it, so I didn't read it properly! I think I've read or heard somewhere that Stellan had his whole family to visit at the set of Pirates, but I'm not sure...
