Happy Thursday, fellow Islanders! :beach:

A quick update for anyone interested in what has (and has not) occurred in my life during my prolonged absence from our Island. :whistle:

1. Thanks only to my forbearance (and the knowledge that I would be the prime suspect should anything untoward occur) my relationship with my argumentative younger sister remains as it has always been. :lecture:

2. After a horrific fire burned my favorite auto repair shop to the ground, I’ve taken on the challenge of routine maintenance for our two 22 year old vehicles. So instead of buying bags I invested in a small but fashionable air compressor, portable battery charger, and other sundries to keep us going until I find a new auto repair shop I trust. :search:

3. Which seriously put a crimp in my DH’s former predilection to take our truck off road into our woods to supply us with firewood and (during deer season) our winter supply of venison. :crybaby:

4. Happily (for him) I suggested we apply my hard won knowledge of bags to his predicament. So instead of trying to make our truck perform as though it was an RTV (rough terrain vehicle) maybe we should consider…
