Hi Ludmilla :wave::loveeyes:
I am sorry you had to go through hard times at work. It must have been pretty exhausting and stressful.:panic:
Your dad’s fall is something else….especially if he doesn’t want to see a doctor .
Did he hurt his head, his back?
Can he move around the house?
Does he take painkillers?
Can your mum ask a doctor to come to your place?
Men are horribly stubborn, I know, but any fall should induce a medical response ( doctor or osteopath, or physiotherapist ).
I hope you or your mum will be able to talk him into taking action…
Keep us posted, Ludmilla :hugs:
He is at the hospital since yesterday morning.
Situation was getting worse and mother and I were able to talk him into it. Sigh.
Obviously, his medication was causing some trouble. At least they will do a large scale examination, now.
Sigh.
And yes, men are terribly stubborn.

I am glad your dad is finally being taken care of in hospital, Ludmilla.
The staff know their job and he will feel much safer and more comfortable, especially if there was a problem with his medicines.
And you and your mum will feel better as well.
We can do everything we can at home but we are not doctors, unfortunately.
I wish your father a quick recovery, Ludmilla.
Give us news when you have a little free time.:hugs::hugs::hugs:

Mum and I do feel better, because it was getting really exhausting. Esp. for my mother.
So far we have to wait. Like many old people his heart is not working well this caused a myriad of problems - probably with several organs. Yesterday he was quite ok, today he was not so well.
But, I guess this is normal.
:hugs:

I am so sorry about your dad. I hope he has a prompt recovery and can come home soon.
We've been through this with my FIL, who after his last fall almost two years ago, broke his leg up near his hip. That landed him in the hospital with surgery, then rehab and eventually in long-term care as we could no longer care for him at home. Hopefully, they can get your dad's meds straightened out, he will heal well and can go back home. Hugs to you and your mom.

That is a beautiful Longchamp bag in the photo!

Yes, Ludmilla, this is normal.
Being in hospital is no fun. As we say in French, il y a des jours avec et des jours sans., meaning there are days with and days without.
Your dad is in good hands, he is going to be okay. :hugs::hugs:

The situation with your fil sounds pretty stressful, too.
