My incredulity was regarding spending that much time in FRESNO.
Although, five weeks to design and build a set sounds reasonable I doubt it would take anywhere near that long to get lighting cues and such done. I know nothing about her live stage shows.........is there that much choreography or a cast of thousands?
When you're dealing with experienced hands things go pretty much boom boom boom.
I was originally a drama major in college (back in the 70's) and tech'd a lot of shows. I'm sure things like lighting pre-sets are all computerized now.

I would hope the set design would be done. The choreography of the number of dancers that I expect she would have would take a long time of practice. Then, while the tech design can be computerized, it still needs to be built - both physically and computer wise. Then you have to make sure that the humans and the tech are in sync (practicing hitting marks and such). It’s a complicated and time consuming process.
