Adele wants to make sure you can’t shuffle her new album on Spotify. Another reason to miss the old days when you could buy music and it belonged to YOU and you could listen to it whatever way you pleased. Now you must listen to it the way the stuck up artist wants.

I guess I shouldn't care because I don't like the single so I won't listen to the album. Unfortunately, she has been very off putting to me.

Except you can if you want to. It's just not the default. The shuffle button is still there available to select if you start playing a track from the album.

You can still buy it and listen to it any way you want, of course!

The whole audience made up of famous, wealthy and very successful people were the ones who meant a lot to her?

Oh Adele, you adapted to the Hollywood mindset so quickly.
That was my point before. I didn’t realize she was so Hollywood now. I saw Adele twice years ago when she sold out smaller stages and not arenas. Her shows were amazing and intimate. Her personality was funny and endearing. But the Oprah interview seemed a far cry from the Adele I fell in love with the last time I saw her at Electric Factory in Philly 10+ years ago.

But removing the shuffle function makes it more similar to a physical record, not less.
It’s not like you can’t jump ahead or go back, like on a CD player, but the order of the songs is the way the creator intended.

I will always be on the side of the creative people in the industry, and it’s good for everyone that Adele can influence Spotify to improve their app like this.

Has anyone seen Seth Rogen go on and on on Kimmel how he doesn’t know Adele and not sure why he sat where he did let alone get an invite? I only saw clips of the interview but did catch her performance. I wondered about her guest list so much too! It looked like a contrived list.

I didn't see him on kimmel but read about it.....funny - he said he and his wife were stoned and the whole thing was strange for them
Obviously she (or her people) wanted celebs in the audience.
Again, I am really disappointed in Adele. She has bought the celeb thing so bad.....wish she'd go home to England, eat a sandwich and be herself again
