The thing I like most is that she showed Swifty where she can take her Bad Blood. That girl promoted that sh*tty music video for weeks having any model half known in there and then comes Adele releasing the video over night and takes all the record-breaking numbers away from her.
And I personally don't think it's a good thing being compared to Michael Jackson but maybe that's just my personal associations. I mainly heard about him regarding his private matters and his creepy appearance. His music might be good but not more "legend" than any other person. In fact, I think his voice got worse the older he got.

she came on the scene with a sound that is new and beautiful and good material
she appeals to a wide range of people (as Whitney and Michael did)
IMO Whitney had a great voice but Michael was more the whole package - dancing, entertaining.
Just as I love many back artists and would not take away from them for being black, don't try to take away from this wonderful artist because she's white.

I didn't see her on SNL last night but I can't help but remember before her last album hit, seeing her on Dancing With the Stars. I thought her singing was great and as I recall her makeup looked good but her wardrobe and body not so good. Now everyone is saying how beautiful and glamorous she is. Good for her.

It is clear the conversation you are trying to have. It is just not substantiated or warranted here, hence the need to move on and not try to hustle up drama/anger/tension where there is none.
