By a crazy stroke of luck, I was once again was able to go to another BSL softball game. I was hoping Team ROA would win but it was not to be today. However, I had a great time regardless of the outcome.
So I got to the field around 11 AM, just chilling, chatting, whatever. I also met the lovely Cristin, Ellen, and Alecia. It was wonderful hanging out with you ladies today!
The game started 15 minutes late, which was odd considering they usually very prompt with starting the games on time. Unfortunately, Team ROA had a really rough first inning and that’s really what did them in. It didn’t keep me and my new friends from making a lot of noise consistently throughout the game, though. We were even complimented on our enthusiasm (by Aaron himself, no less)!
It’s just really fun to see Aaron at these games because he gets SO into it and it’s such a joy to see. He’s just so random and cute, if that makes sense? I didn’t sleep well last night, so sorry if it seems like I’m rambling on.
After the game, I didn’t see anyone going up to him so I had to be the brave one this time and asked him to sign my CMIYC album cover. I broke the ice with a little humor, just to gauge his mood, but all was well despite the loss. He was just as lovely and friendly as last time. I told him I was excited about his album coming out and he said he is, too. He also said that tonight’s Graceland is “gonna be a good one” and SPOILER ALERT: No one dies or gets stabbed (his words, not mine lol). So of course, I had to mention about how I drink when I watch the show but it made him laugh, it’s all good. Also…thanks again people for being really cool and not douchebags. It really does make the experience better for all of us, so thank you.
