A nice fan story from the game:

Ok so today was kind of a last minute thing where I realized this was my last chance to meet aaron tveit at his softball game. So I asked my mom yesterday, she said sure, (i got to miss volleyball woooo) so my sister, my friend Domari, and her cousin drove to New York and things happened. We found out that there was broadway show people performing in Bryant park so we decided to go there a while past 12:30 and watch the last part of the Motown show which was awesome…. Then we had to start making our way to Central Park, and we couldn’t find a cab that would fit all of us so we decided to walk (it took quiiiiiiite a while). By the time we got there is was like 15 after two and everyone had to pee so we went to the bathroom and I had assumed we took way too long getting there, and we missed the whole thing. But we checked to make sure…. They weren’t on the field, but all of a sudden i saw all of these guys in the rock of ages uniforms and I was like hell yes this is my time. He was walking out of the field spot and talking to another guy on the team… And he looked goood, like i dont think youre supposed to look good after working out but he did, and he smelled good too…. his teeth were even whiter in person and he was just as adorable if not more than when you see him in interviews and stuff, anyway, I took out my les mis DVD and the picture I drew for him and he noticed me walking up to him and turned to the guy he was talking to and said, “talk to you later man” and then turned me us and We asked him to sign stuff and he was so sweet and I gave him the picture and told him how great he was in les mis and graceland and how we would be watching it tonight and he was like, “thanks so much, it’s going to be a good one tonight” and then said “okay guys great talking to ya” and I said thanks so much and then he walked away and didn’t realize he forgot to sign my friends thing so we yelled after him “WAIT WAIT WAIT” and then he turned and was like “woops sorry” and he asked us our names and everything…. He was so sweet and polite to all of us (my mom loved the guy too by the way, she was like oh my goodness he’s so polite and sweet… What a nice guy….. So it was an awesome day and I still can’t believe that we actually got a chance to meet him, like we actually caught him at the perfect time right before he left and if we hadn’t left at that exact time and also taken that pee stop we probably wouldn’t have found him so we got so lucky today and I’ve been staring at the autograph for so long…. Also my mom got pictures when he wasn’t looking (I swear I didn’t tell he to, I know the rules but she was like look what I got as we walked away and it was a picture of him signing my thing and I was like okay thanks mom I’ll let this slide.

Another lovely fan story and some good photos at the game.

Well, if anyone could bring me out of my tumblr lurkerdom, it would be one Mr. Aaron Tveit, wouldn’t it?

I was extremely fortunate to attend the BSL Playoff doubleheaders today and boy, was it worth it. I thought he was gonna be a no-show, just because I have the worst of luck sometimes, but about a half hour into the game, I was just chillin’ and watching the game, minding my business and I see this guy running across the way with his softball gear, and I was “lol nah” then low and behold, there he was and I got a glimpse of his glorious back. Also, he ran in wearing this shirt:

The Motown game wound up being a really good, close game, which ROA won, 8-7. After the game ended, I saw one person approach him and after that, I figured it would be safe to seize the opportunity presented to me so I went up to him (CALMLY) and he couldn’t have been sweeter. We had a small conversation about how people **** up our names (Tracy gets messed up more than you know) and it was great, very natural. If you approach him calmly, it’ll be all good, kids. I even got a hug out of the deal, which was more than I could have asked for. I also want to give a big thank you to the kids there today, who were cool and didn’t get all excitable up in his business. You made today a more pleasant experience for all of us.

ROA went on to kick *** in the second game against Jekyll & Hyde, which ended via the mercy rule. Aaron hit a homerun and made a pretty *****in’ catch to end the game. As a friend of mine said, the softball gods were generous today. :) It is also very much worth mentioning that the ROA team as a whole are pretty cool people.
