In other ways, you constantly have to change people’s opinion of you as one thing, especially if you want to play different roles. You have to shatter that image sometimes. I’ve had to do it before with stage roles, to get roles. I’m drawn to kind of darker, misfit things. I would like to, especially in film, play against type and do some heavier stuff. I’m intrigued by projects that deal with problematic people and things."

The 29-year-old Graceland actor recently spoke with Backstage magazine about enjoying the auditioning process.

“I like auditioning! A lot of people hate it, but I like it,” Aaron said. “Especially like right now, I’m not shooting a show so you get to act. You get to do that stuff, kind of treat everyone as ‘All right, throw the paint against the wall and see what I can do with this and what people say.’ I think it’s a great mental workout because you have to ready something, learn something fast. It’s good to stay on your toes and keep sharp if you’re auditioning.”

I F****G MET AARON TVEIT OUTSIDE THE WENDY WILLIAMS SHOW AND I CANT EVEN CONTAIN MY FEELINGS.

it was the best moment ever. i&#8217;m the girl with short hair and the striped dress. my three cousins and i got up after only three hours of sleep to travel to the city to meet him. we fell asleep at 4, woke up at 6:50, and spent like an hour on the f train. we came just on time and we were the only ones there, which surprised the hell out of me, but i obviously wasnt complining. when he stepped out of his car, i only saw a glimpse of his head before people found me running the other way, screeching. thank god that he didn&#8217;t hear me. we went shopping until we figured aaron would be done taping his interview, and were able to see him for a while. a bunch of middle aged men were trying to get his autograph so that they can sell it later, and aaron seemed to know this. i&#8217;m pretty sure my cousins and i were the only ones who were actually fans. i&#8217;m guessing that because he realized that the middle aged men were obviously just doing it for money, he seemed a little upset. plus, he was only showed shortly compared to honey boo boo&#8217;s mom, which would ****ing upset me too. along with that, he was clearly rushing, which we would later realize was to go to his empire state photoshoot. with all this, he STILL decided to make my day and take this picture with us, as long as we were quick. i love him so much <3
