Sneak Peek of the Graceland Finale:

Lots of opinions on line about a scene that aired in Canada for the finale. I'm ok with it (I won't spoil suffice it to say, a romance in the house)

First photos of Aaron filming the baseball movie Undrafted in LA with Chace Crawford and a host of others:

ENTERTAINMENT:
Aaron Tveit, 29 (ABOVE)

One of the most versatile twenty-something actors, Tveit has appeared on Broadway (Catch Me if You Can), TV (Gossip Girl), and film (Les Misérables).

What’s new: Finishing the first season of Graceland, working on a couple of really exciting film projects, and releasing my first album.

Favorite New York moment: Performing on a Broadway stage for the first time in Hairspray in 2006.

Favorite neighborhood: Union Square—it’s a slice of the city.

Proudest achievements: Seeing two shows I worked on in development for years succeed on Broadway; fulfilling a lifelong dream to sing “God Bless America” at Yankee Stadium during a play-off game; and finally finishing my college degree last summer—11 years after I started.

What makes a good relationship: Honesty and the ability to laugh together, and often.

Exclusive! Aaron Tveit on Two New Movie Roles and How Big Fish Buddy Norbert Leo Butz Made Him Cry

tumblr_mudsky9myo1ql39g0o1_500.jpg

Les Miserables movie fave Aaron Tveit experienced a Broadway flashback when he picked up his tickets for opening night of the new musical Big Fish at the Neil Simon Theatre on October 6.

“It felt very nostalgic to be back at the Neil Simon,” Tveit told Broadway.com at the show’s opening night bash across 52nd Street at Roseland. The rising star previously appeared onstage at the theater when he made his Broadway debut as Link Larkin in Hairsprayin 2006 and later headlined Catch Me If You Can in 2011 opposite the two-time Tony-winning star of Big Fish, Norbert Leo Butz.

“Norbert’s incredible,” he said. “He’s such a force of nature. Now when I watch him, I can see the little things he’s doing, and I know what it’s like to be up there with him. It’s just incredible.” Tveit admitted that he joined the legions of grown men who have cried at the sentimental show. “Oh yeah, I cried my eyes out,” he said. “It just smacks you in the face.”

As he waits for production to start up again on his recently renewed USA Network hit Graceland, Tveit is keeping busy starring in two indie movies. The recently wrapped Undrafted features Tveit in the leading role of a college baseball player who has to rethink his life after being passed over for the majors. “He thought he was getting drafted and basically doesn’t,” Tveit shared. “Now what does he do?”

Written and directed by actor Joseph Mazzello about the experiences of his own brother, Undrafted centers on a summer league baseball game in which Tveit joins other hot young actors like Chace Crawford (his Gossip Girl cohort) and Tyler Hoechlin (Teen Wolf), as the “crazy band of funny idiots” who come together on the baseball diamond. “It’s a combination of the two things I like to do,” laughed Tveit. “Play baseball and act.”

Currently filming in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Tveit’s role in the horror indie Big Sky is more of a departure. Directed by Mexican filmmaker Jorge Michel Grau (whose We Are What We Are centered on a family of cannibals), the dark film features Tveit as an emotionally and physically scarred young man. “He dealt with some abuse when he was a kid,” Tveit revealed. “You come to find out he got hit in the head with a shovel by his mom and because of this, he has some issues. It’s definitely a part I’ve never played before. I get to really challenge myself with some physical impediments. I’m nervous about it, but in a really good way. Good nervous!”

Look for both films, along with the second season of Graceland on USA in 2014.

More details on Aaron's role in Big Sky

Bella Thorne, Kyra Sedgwick and Frank Grillo Join Big Sky

Manis Film announced that production started on Big Sky, the English-language debut of Mexican helmer Jorge Michel Grau (the original We Are What We Are). The film will star Bella Thorne (upcoming The Familymoon with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, and Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day with Steve Carell and Jennifer Garner), Kyra Sedgwick (Emmy and Golden Globe winner for The Closer; The Possession; upcoming films Kill Your Darlings and Reach Me), Frank Grillo (The Grey; End of Watch; Zero Dark Thirty; upcoming Captain America: The Winter Soldier), and Aaron Tveit (Les Miserables; Howl; USA's Graceland). Principal photography commenced this week in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Here's what producer Randy Manis had to say about the production.

"Big Sky is a suspenseful and thrilling story that will have audiences on the edge of their seats as our troubled characters tumble further into peril. We are very excited to share the talent of our skilled director and the highly talented cast that he has attracted."

Jorge Michel Grau's Big Sky is the tale of Hazel (Bella Thorne), a teenage girl who suffers a mortal fear of open spaces. She never leaves her bedroom, which has put a strain on the relationship with her strung-out mom, Dee (Kyra Sedgwick), and is starting to take its toll on both of them. In a last ditch attempt to cure her daughter, Dee enrolls Hazel in a high-end treatment facility in the desert, hoping they will finally find the help they require so that Hazel can begin to move forward from the horrors of her past that triggered her illness. But help is the last thing that they get. When two brothers, Jesse (Frank Grillo) and Pru (Aaron Tveit), interfere with Hazel and Dee's plans in the worst possible way, Hazel must confront her paralyzing fears before they consume her and is forced to fight for her survival in the harshest conditions, all while avoiding the cunning schemes hatched by Jesse.

In the tradition of such high-intensity neo-Hitchcockian thrillers as Breakdown, Dead Calm, Panic Room, and Open Water, Big Sky will take viewers to a whole new place -- inside a mind that can be its own worst enemy.

Big Sky is based on an original screenplay by Evan M. Wiener (Monogamy). The producing team consists of Manis (Margin Call, Kill Your Darlings), Matthew Salloway (Lee Daniels' the Butler, So Undercover), and Christina Papagjika (Lee Daniels' the Butler). Christine Vachon is executive producing for Killer Films (Far From Heaven, Mildred Pierce, Boys Don't Cry), along with Jeffrey V. Mandel of Big LEO Media (Murderball). Benaroya Pictures' genre fare subsidiary AKA pictures is co-financing the film, with Clayton Young serving as executive producer for AKA. Ricky Tollman is co-producer. Santiago Sánchez (We Are What We Are) is the director of photography.

Voltage Pictures (Don Jon, The Hurt Locker) will represent foreign rights at the upcoming American Film Market. Creative Artists Agency and Manis Film co-represent domestic rights.
Big Sky comes to theaters in 2014 and stars Bella Thorne, Kyra Sedgwick, Frank Grillo, Aaron Tveit. The film is directed by Jorge Michel Grau.

Aaron’s short film, A Dream of Flying, will be available to watch online starting tomorrow, the 25th. You can watch it at Yahoo!Screen

Here’s the article on it: http://www.imaging-resource.com/new...rd-announce-project-imaginat10n-film-festival

Canon's long running "Project Imaginat10n" is reaching its zenith, as all 10 final short films are set to be shown in a film festival, both in the real world today, and online starting tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 25. A combination of celebrity directors and contest winners, all 10 films were inspired by winning images from the Project Imaginati10n photography competition.

Created as a collaboration between Canon and famed director Ron Howard, Project Imaginati10n began with the selection of 91 winning images in 10 categories. Each filmmaker used 10 of the photos as the inspiration for their final film. Five of these were user submitted films, the other five were created by celebrity directors -- and for those, they chose one image from nine categories, with Ron Howard selecting the universal 10th image to tie all the films together.

The "Project Imaginat10n" Film Festival debuts today at the Lincoln Center in New York City, followed by screenings in Los Angeles. For those of you not able to make it to those showings (pretty much everyone), tomorrow all 10 films will be available to watch on Yahoo! Screen.

The final 10 films are:

Jamie Foxx, Celebrity Director - "...And She Was My Eve"
Eva Longoria, Celebrity Director - "Out of the Blue"
Georgina Chapman, Celebrity Director - "A Dream of Flying"
James Murphy, Celebrity Director - "Little Duck"
Biz Stone, Celebrity Director - "Evermore"
Arrius Sorbonne, Winning Director - "Dominus"
Jared Nelson, Winning Director - "Chucked"
Julian Higgins, Winning Director - "Here and Now"
Kalman Apple, Winning Director - "A Day in the Country"
Ronnie Allman, Winning Director - "Filter"

If you don't want to wait until tomorrow to watch the films, the five contest-winning entries are already up and viewable on the Project Imaginat10n website.
