A new Coach Line called Snoopy?

I wanted a mini Bennett but hesitated when I saw the texture of the material in the photos so I went with (what looked like) a smooth leather crossbody pouch. It's been shipped but won't be here until the end of this week. Does anyone know yet if the crossbodys are actually smooth leather and if Snoopy is embossed vs painted on?

Edit: I would be irate if I'd paid $175 for the mini Bennett and it was anything but smooth calf or pebbled leather like the other Bennetts. I have a pebbled leather one and it's nice. Even then, I think $175 is a bit too much for that style, even with Snoopy.

Well I just want to add, look how they showed the opening page photo of the red tote with a white Snoopy on it. Then the actual item is not the same. Someone is not watching the details.

Has anyone purchased a regular (not Peanuts) crossgrain tote with a fabric care card included?

My taxi tote had a leather care card, it was the cross grain..

I wonder if the metal hardware on these new Peanuts items is the imitation metal hardware, like has been seen on many Outlet items.

I am really looking forward to seeing this line in person on Wednesday, and feeling how they compare with some of my 1st and 2nd release items.

That will probably happen with the eBay transactions. I noticed some listings indicating the bag was calf leather...

I noticed this too, mentioning calf leather in the title, and then the prices are about the same as the 1st and 2nd edition items!

Crazy.

Honestly though their are different qualities just like with leathers, they are not all created equal.

You'd be surprised. LV isn't what it used to be. But I get your point completely.

Selling coated canvas as leather is actually fraud. Take a screen shot so if you need to make a point, you have evidence. Good luck with your Snoopy goodies. I hope they are more amazing in person and everything you wanted.

That's exactly it. If they felt they had to make these out of coated canvas for cost reasons, then they are obligated to say they're coated canvas. I find it VERY strange all items are listed as "calf leather" yet they vary so much. I'm definitely not a leather expert, but someone said their tote didn't have that leather smell, which to me is a big red flag.
