I feel sorry for her. Kurt Cobain was probably the love of her life and she lost him so terribly...and turned to liquor and drugs. Then she gained weight and was crucified by the media and probably every other person that saw her since people in this country feel very empowered to put down heavy people... so then she loses weight and still is made fun of. I think this poor woman has a lot of pain that hasn't been dealt with - and frankly I think she's just like a lot of us. Doing the best she can to get through life with the curveballs that get tossed her way; bring up her child as normally as possible; and just live her life. I don't particularly like her music, but I admire her for just doing the best she can in the way she decides best. Go Courtney!
I loved her back in the day. I even loved her when she punched Kathleen Hanna onstage when I was in high school. Not anymore, though, she just seems sad to me.
