mothbeast, what are your thoughts on the Ocean Beach Hobo? I'm really liking the shape of it - how's the leather? The weight?
IndiaInk - I didn't think it was too heavy but I didn't look too closely at it. It's suede and textured leather and is very long which is why I didn't look too closely - I'd feel like it went to my knees. The wood color is quite lovely. They do really make the best browns.

OK, thanks ... I'll re-check the measurements ... you are SO LUCKY to be able to do these things - I'm with queenie on the jealous bit!
I did get to see the Fall 2013 line but didn't take notes! here's what I remember off the top of my head.
-bigmouth group redesign!
- they're changing the pockets - as best as I can explain instead of the zipper being set
into the flattened tube shape of the front pockets on the it'll be set on the edge and also go slightly around the corner. So it flaps over as a slightly slanted pocket and the zips runs a bit around the corner.
- they're changing the leather. I'm less excited about this - they're going to use a lamb that is more uniform and smooth - no crinkling or texture.
- the pushover is back! also the Starlet and a smaller version of the Type A. Also a really cool clutch with a wrist strap.
- colors I saw were a yellow, brown and grey and possibly the berry i describe below.
- calf bags - there was a great color that was like a more purple version of loganberry. I don't remember if the lamb bags were also in this color. I remember liking a bag but don't remember the details
- new turnlock group - there's a new group with a giant turn lock that matches the look of their other custom hardware. It's a flat sided gold oval 2in or a bit more across. I don't remember details except that I vaguely remember seeming large and structured and ladylike. They were definitely less slouchy than the other bags. These were in that purple berry color. There may also have been some calf hair - I do remember a calf hair clingy.
- fabric bags - I remember seeing red canvas color so I'll be saving for one of those and also some bags in the wool suede combo - in particular a small messenger I'll try to get when it comes out.
- made in the USA line - they're making a line of bags made here. as best I remember they were simple small boxy vertical messengers with bright fabric bodies and dark brown leather flaps and straps.

India - that bag peeking in from the corner is the bitsy which has as drop of 21-27. It was hanging on the same rack as the Ocean Beach hobo.
Whoa... what were they thinking to make such a long bag? Thanks for pointing out the Bitsy there - that really seals the deal on that one -
