Hi Pepper & co

As I said yesterday, I went to an official Hermès store yesterday with the bag. The seller was so positive about the bag being genuine that she had absolutely no objections to my taking it to the store for confirmation, without having paid the bag. The rest of the story is, you will be happy to hear, only a confirmation of your supreme expertise in this matter :) The saleswoman at Hermès quickly confirmed your suspicions, and was positive that the bag is a fake. It's probably not a "made in China" fake, but definitely a fake, possibly "Made in Italy"
I know what you will say: " we told you so" etc, but for all it's worth, I quite liked the adventure and didn't lose any money, and this proves yet again that YOU ARE FABULOUS AUTHENTICATORS :)

et voilà, end of story, thanks for your advice!

Hello again -

Further to my earlier posting, here are the details in what I hope is the correct format:

I AM INVITING YOUR VALUED COMMENTS/OPINION - AUTHENTICATION on the following:

ITEM: HERMES BOMBAY IN BLACK BOX LEATHER

LISTING NO:360227396910

SELLER; The HAUTE Spot/ Goodkarna in Chicago/Ill.

Link: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....396910&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_3824wt_826

Z? eh? What year would that be - any answers?

In grateful anticipation - nervously coventing Bombay bag in Norfolk/England...but a bit suspicious, despite the consiger selling designer stuff....

Many thanks.

Comments from seller, in response to question on craftsman stamp:
"After carefully examining this bag, I have noticed a faint embossment under the exterior leather tab. It seems to read Z81 with a small square before the Z."

Em78, I am glad you completed the experience.
However, it was such an obvious one that I cant take the good mark ;)

Good afternoon fabulous experts -

Consider yourself lucky that the person wasn't a total flake who could have lost her temper and gone ballistic when finding out the bag was not authentic. I would strongly suggest to you, for your own personal safety, that you not go on one of these adventures again. Next time, you might not be so fortunate.

The most obvious thing is Mini Kelly does not come with Key and clochette..... ;)

I beg to differ sydspy, as the owner and seller of several, some mini Kelly 20cm's do have a clochette and key!

Hi everyone,

This regards the FAKE Mini Croc Miel Kelly 20cm that I posted here a week or so ago and subsequently bought. I have been asked by Paypal to get a letter from an authenticator, and I have contacted CarolDiva. Would it be possible for those of you who recognized this bag as fake to PM me with any specific points? I would be truly grateful if you would. I want to relay them to CarolDiva.

Thanks in advance,
chloechloe

Regarding asking for tips for Caroldiva .... as she is the one providing the authentication service, I am sure she can provide the answers herself ... afterall this is her business and the service she is charging you for
