for me I think the bag is more durable then you would assume looking at it ( it does look very wrinkly

). The winkles for me adds to the uniqueness of the bag because those winkles really reflect lights and it makes the bags shine have a really fun texture, it's hard to tell from photo how nice it looks you really need to go see it in person. to the touch it definitely feel like they had treated the leather and had put a metallic coat over the leather. When it comes to flaking, I think only time will tell, so far I haven't had any issue with that when I brought it out.
here's something I figured I'd share it might be useful in case you did decide to get it. I did buy two rainbow reissue One had 1 super tiny hairline scratch exposing the leather and the other had a tiny spot without coating. Both did not have leather damage. All I did was use a bit of chrome nail powder in the same shade to cover them up and it was like those defects were never there !
I'm going to try to use them as much as I can, I'm super happy to have them in my collection and I know if the coating rubbs off in some part it's easy to fix ( I used chrome nail powder, rubbed it on very gently on the missing spot, then used acrylic finisher( for leather) from angelus to seal it)
here's a before and after

I bought them both knowing they both have tiny defects, I usually don't do this but since I knew I can fix it myself i had to get them since it's not easy to get them here , but I have no regrets!ps. i also asked the SA about sending it to chanel for repair and they said it could take a lonnnng time just to see if they CAN fix it so that was not an option .
both bags together
