I can't believe we are almost at the end of the month. How did everyone do with the challenges? I wore at least two my light bags twice. I listed multiple things and conditioned a lot of my bags. I love the challenges.
I wore two of my pastel bags a few different times this month. As for closet clear out, I ended up adding significantly to my closet instead of clearing out- clothes, not handbags.
I’ve always loved cotton eyelet and summer dresses and went quite overboard, adding several pieces including dresses, tops and skirts, mostly high street brands.
In addition to eyelet, I also added some midi length and knee length dresses in a few different styles- wrap dresses, shirtwaist dresses, some linen and denim dresses. My closet is full to the seams but I refuse to declutter anything!
I am also in the process of updating my jeans choices to include wide leg and possibly barrel style jeans, both of which I have been hesitant about adding. I will be getting rid of some skinny jeans though and good riddance. I was never a fan of them.

Progress is I bought no bags,

Challenges:
Spring Colours: Wore 2 silver bags (if you can call silver Spring) plus proper Spring-like pink Paul Smith satchel and Gucci Flora Nice tote.
I did a spring clean: shampooed carpets, moved furniture, washed outdoor furniture, changed around paintings

No harm in having a large wardrobe if you are wearing everything. I love the sound of your eyelet pieces (I wonder if it's what we call 'embroidery anglaise'). It's a good idea to stock-up on things that are in fashion while they are, coz some years there will be nothing.

I am eyeing all the beautiful cotton blouses this year, one that would look good with every kind of maxi, mini or shorts - I haven't found the right one yet.

Beautiful additions! I need to go scarf hunting for vintage Cartier scarves.

Sending healing thoughts to your DH.

Thank you.

I urge everyone who loves silk scarves to hunt for vintage Cartier. It's probably my only way of owning multiple pieces of their high jewellery :D My pics are awful and don't do them justice.

Vintage Ferragamo are also so beautiful.

Scarves in general are getting too computer generated and/or commercial for me including Hermes.

New, I would recommend moving away from the big brands. Some of my favourite scarf artists have their own lines. Sabina Savage (who created the most iconic McQueen designs) and Arlette Ess (worked for Hermes).

My heart is with you and DH-please update when you are able to..❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Also, please don’t give Everything to charity-I still want to come and play dress up in your closet one day!!

Thank you.

LOL, anytime. If I find anything small enough I will gift it to you, but it's been a while I was a UK 4-6. My last bag was full of things that looked very pretty, but made of 60s/70s synthetics.

In some ways it breaks my heart to part with my vintage stuff more than new but at this point some things are literally just lining the walls as insulation.

Stay positive, we are here.

I shouldn’t really write this here..
I may be a UK4 , but on the wrong day, I can feel like a beached whale!

Maybe a hysterectomy can sort that out..

@dcooney4, hope your DH is healing well from the surgery.
@whateve, sending good wishes to you and your DH for the upcoming surgery.
@cecchetti, sorry to hear you have to face the worries and having to go again for the test. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
Thank you! He is getting there. A few scares in between but getting there.

This month is the birthday of my beloved Niece, although she has her finals, so I won’t see her until after her graduation, next month(in between her various holidays).

I’m so proud of her, in many ways she’s more like me than my sister, who would never have dreamt of working overseas alone (in October she’s moving to Austria, at her age I moved to Paris).

I have a selection of presents, including jewellery, Skims sweaters, gym gloves, nail varnishes etc.

She’s always very grateful, and great fun to go out with.
I’ve told her about my admirer, but I’m not ready to tell anybody else in my family.

The clothes sound lovely. I need to get rid of some that no longer look great and replace them.

May Stats!
I am using papertigers words
Oops 4 Bags in -one was a gift
5 Bags out
0 Slgs in
1 Slgs out
0 Sports/Travel Bag in
2 Sports/Travel Bags out
That is a total of 7 bags out.
I have a lot more space now because what I sold was larger than what I bought. The only bad thing is I have to pick up some stuff at the consignment store that didn't sell. I never count those as out until they actually sell, but I hate bringing things I am done with back. Might just prepare a donate bag again.
