Still no spring colours... but rather countercyclical ( If that's a word) shopping:

I picked up a handbag at the charity shop, yesterday. It's not luxury, but seems to be good leather ( and a lot of it, because this bag is big) and nice craftmanship. The hardware is substantial.

The brand is Renato Angi Venezia. I suspect it to be a Y2k piece.

Have you ever heard of the brand? All I can find online are second hand listings. Well, at least at 2€ I certainly didn't overpay....

It looks like fabulous leather.

Company primarily works making leather bags for the trade, but does have a small line of bags they produce under their own name.

Has boutiques under their name in Russia, Italy, Israel and Germany.

And please don’t ask me how I remember this - I’m not entirely certain myself.

I haven't heard of it, but in Italy there are lots of really cute boutiques that do their own label including bags. I bought a bag in Ventimiglia that was literally made in a little workshop at the back of the store.

Super!

We (UK) used to have a company called Blakes that made leather clothes and accessories mostly for export (particularly Germany) but had their own store in Covent Garden, London. They were so good and fashion forward, as a student I bought so so many things I had to literally stop myself from going past.

I will find you one of my belt-bags and take a pic later.

Not very Spring-like for work today. It always looks like rain - but then doesn't.

I wore, boots, dark denim slim flares, SLP Homme striped, boat-neck LS tee, Burberry Summer weight short Mac, Lazy Leopardesses scarf in gris/vert-noir, Emmy navy leather cross-body, and silver superman necklace.
Your outfit sounds great! Btw you don't have the rain, because we have all of it over here.... I just hope for the weather to improve by next Saturday. A church wedding in cold rain wouldn't be too nice. They have put so much effort into the planning and deserve a great day!( Plus I still have the cold from the rainy registry office wedding, no coat that would look nice with my dress and no warm knickers, either.)

Get better quickly!

On Wednesday my sister and I went out to lunch with my Father, for his birthday, in a smart Italian restaurant (the carer looked after my Mum).

We all enjoyed ourselves , my sister drove so that he could drink, the food was excellent, they put a candle in his tiramisu and sang Happy Birthday.
He looked well and happy, which was lovely to see, my Mum would have loved the restaurant ..but we didn’t let that spoil it for us.

Apparently my Niece is going to work in Austria for a while when she graduates-I’ll see her in the summer.

Today is the dreaded hysteroscopy, I’m Realiy not in the mood for it and would love to cancel-my girlfriend is taking me..my admirer has a holiday already booked for a fortnight which he wanted to cancel, but I wouldn’t let him, telling him that I had no intention of cancelling mine later in the year.

Life is busy!
