I set aside a size able amount for this launch and had intended to do the same for cherry blossom and cerises. I’ve been told by two different SA’s that I don’t qualify for the preorder, that the items I want are sold out, and to give it a shot on release day.

At this point I’m also ready to tap out and spend my money elsewhere. I’ll pop online to see if I can get lucky and see if there’s something I like from whatever scraps are left over but I’m not going to beg LV to take my money anymore.
Absolutely agree. I have a few of the original MC times which were not hard to get all, I work hard to afford LV but not going to fight to get on a list and beg to spend my money, when I was younger -yes, but now I just think “ meh - there will be something else along I love, no need to stress”

Consider there are levels to CAs, some have more seniority, full time/part time, have top clients, or may have a better relationship with the GM. Thus some may know more then others, but most don't want to lose a client and will try to say what they can to keep clients happy or say what the GM's have said to tell clients.

It's sales, and I think the longer/better relationship with your CA, the more trust there is. Its corporate that makes the rules and they often change the system. It's just the way it is, and GM's CA's won't know what's coming from corporate.

I really doubt they will produce more, but I do likely see an allocation of stock online and stores will have limited pieces, just not all the popular ones. If they do come in or returns, they will be pulled by CA's quickly for their clients that couldn't preorder or wasn't available during. I think it's going to be hard to get a popular piece without a CA.

Also, I agree 25k is a lot, but in the luxury world its just the way it is. Watches have bigger entry ticket to get popular pieces, its somewhat same with specific cars.

If LV doesn’t come through with pieces being available to the general public after all the hype, misinformation, cancelled orders, etc, it will be so clear they are just playing. I’m already getting non-LV pieces and if I don’t get any MC pieces I’ll just move on. I’ve lived this long without one.

But tbh, I think they have much more supply in the new year. After people have spent all their Christmas money, they’ll have a harder time selling out.

i would be interested in seeing the number produced for this line!
Yes so for real, IF there’s REALLY going to be crumbs left at launch it has to have been stuuuppiiddddlyyy low. I work in luxury and I posted on my stories a few weeks ago all about how LV has been the architect of their own failure and this is a PRIME example of it lmao like they could have really pumped up those sales numbers and had a really big hit on their hands bc I don’t think this launch being so limited is doing anything for perceived brand exclusivity or value. They’re mass produced, big box luxury with massively automated production and scale so large they can’t adequately control quality (not as bad as Chanel but ya know)… no amount of limited collections or exclusive VIC only launches is changing that perception. I love my LV pieces, I loved my experience at the store today, but like I know very well what brand I’m buying into when I buy LV. The prices keep this stuff pretty exclusive anyway, social media makes it seem overexposed but there’s not much of this out and about besides in certain areas.

I'm pretty sure there's going to be several restocks of this collection. For example, the silver mirror collection sold out in a flash when it first dropped in October. I actually pre-ordered the mirror speed 20 as soon as my CA was able to take the order. The bag just shipped yesterday. So clearly, LV is very slowly restocking their popular collections.
