I spoke to CA’s in store today because I decided to tap out! They said I could wait for the general release but that what I’m waiting for could totally sell out before release and there’s no restock coming. I decided to tap out and get a side trunk MM and I’m very happy with my decision. I like this style/silhouette a lot more than the on the go east/west even tho I love the Murakami canvas. I might pop in at launch to see what’s around but I have my vintage original Murakami pieces so I don’t feel like I’m missing out.
You can’t go wrong with a side trunk in any print! I have a black leather debossed and it’s my favorite bag. It’s beautiful in the white multicolor!
Speedy items are long gone. I tried yesterday, they laughed at me.
I set aside a size able amount for this launch and had intended to do the same for cherry blossom and cerises. I’ve been told by two different SA’s that I don’t qualify for the preorder, that the items I want are sold out, and to give it a shot on release day.
At this point I’m also ready to tap out and spend my money elsewhere. I’ll pop online to see if I can get lucky and see if there’s something I like from whatever scraps are left over but I’m not going to beg LV to take my money anymore.
Yesss! Totally agree. It was a much more luxury experience to walk in and get the bag I liked and be able to try it on and not be rushed and not have to beg to fork over 4K. I asked about Murakami and they asked about my pre spend and I was like oh, it’s no where close to where it needs to be, I’m just wondering what the status of things are and if it’s worth waiting and they essentially told me it’s not. I was told last week in December for the general public to pick over the VIC’s leftovers tho.
the side trunk is a great piece! have it in the pm, i love it. enjoy the mm! two friends of mines have the mm and they love it as well.
everything seems conflicting regarding this release. i'm genuinely just riding it out and see what launch day brings. what is meant to be, will be.
I was lucky to get almost everything i wanted. I wanted Alma but chose Speedy Nano as I have a few Almas already. To be honest I just bought more 'smaller' items if that makes sense so i can feel i have more pieces lol so things like keychain, scarve, pochette and shoes ! My only thing is the Kepall .. i want it but I cant justify the price its crazy, do you think the value will go up ? If it does then I might feel more inclined to actually hold it but then I might actually worry and feel bad because its so expensive now hahaha i need help !

Sellers can price however they want. Doesn’t mean anyone will actually pay these ridiculous prices.
For Canada, off the top of my head, this is what is still there right now: a number of the capucines, a number of the shoes, the bigger trunks and panda trunks (side trunk is gone), the carryall PM, the all in bb, the coussin (both colours), the notebook, the high rise bumbag, the white marellini, the perfume bottles, the canvas neverfull mm with the flowers, the black mc Victorine wallet, one white mc scarf (small LV), and the dog carrier
