When my SA presented the shots of what’s available I was told it is because everything I was interested in is sold out, this is the third pre order round, sold out because of high demand.
So I don’t know if they’re using the wrong verbiage (“sold out” versus some other word) or don’t full scope of what will be available in pre order versus actual launch (which I was told is Jan 1 for US).
Maybe the LV elves are frantically making more of the “sold out” items to be ready for us in time for launch day?

Some malls will be open that day, so will assume stores in those malls will be open.
And of course we can all shop online.
i just double checked all the ones here, all 4 are closed new years. so jan 2nd must be the official launch for stores for us then.
I am not sure if it helps ease anyone's stress, but my SA in Japan told me that there will be many products available at the time of launch at LV boutiques. I am based in the US but travel to Japan often so I have a SA in Japan. I usually purchase everything tax free so when I reached out to her about the pre-order, she told me I can't get tax free but if that is acceptable, I can preorder. On Dec 5, I got a panda notebook and panda card case. I told my SA that I will stop by the boutique on Jan 2 and purchase everything else (not a huge list, hopefully one small bag and a wallet). She told me to stop by before the launch day to let her know which products I am interested. So maybe LV has different allocation of products for the launch day? I am no where near VIP as my regular purchase for the past few years have only been few SLGs from the Christmas animation. Last year, I tried to order a bag charm from Kusama collection during the pre-order but that didn't go through because it was sold out. So far I feel like this collection has been much easier to order than Kusama collection so maybe there are more products in stock than we are led to believe. I hope at the end, we can all laugh for going through this experience and end up with the items we want to get!

For the high interest launches I can remember LV has always trickled items out. When they launched the first giant speedy they put like a small quantity online for early access but those sold out fast, yet they were still available at launch because it was a different “pot” of items.
I honestly think they’re going to try and make as many of these as they can sell.
You’re in Toronto right? What store do you think will be least busy? Bloor rather than the malls?
If you have investment type money and want something LV, you should get a custom trunk special order in the MC canvas while it's around.
I was able to place my order for a few items, others were sold out. However my SA told me even the sold out pieces will be available again later in December so I think most of you can get what you want.
My CA in the Western US forwarded me the general pre order link today, but then when she tried to put my order through, she was shocked when corporate turned it down and said I was $716 beneath the $25K spending limit for the tier and they wouldn't make any exceptions. My CA rang up a $760 item (that I can return) so that I would be eligible to do the pre order today.
Now whether the items I want will actually be available is another story. I selected the Alma and the Speedy 20 (with flowers) and a few bag charms. I have four of the original Murakami purses, including two I bought at the Paris flagship store in 2005, so if I can't get the Alma I'm not going to get too worked up - my originals are in great condition and I still use them. So tonight I'm waiting to see if my pre order will go through. Don't have any idea how much Murakami LV is producing, I just know with the Tyler pieces, they sold out immediately - it was the Quick or the Bagless!
