2025 Murakami Cherry Blossom Line

Yes, the Boulogne style works perfectly for me. I love it.
I also know if I miss this one, I will never have anything cherry blossom- NOTHING- that's for sure.

But I also know I definitely want something from the Cerise line. I feel like at this rate, my spending is out of control. But after Murakami, it's not like I shop regularly for handbags (at least not at Louis Vuitton).

@fettfleck How do you justify your spending? Or you just have unlimited funds?

😝😅 I wish I had unlimited funds (or a rich husband), but all hard self earned money.
I buy bags if I really like it and often after extensive research, if it will suit me.
That‘s all. But I have to admit when I buy luxury things I sometimes feel guilty for spending that much money. But when it makes me happy, I think it is justified.
And of course depending on how much money I can spend right now, means depending on if there are any other expenses I currently have. If it is not possible, I don‘t buy.

Murakami is something else for me (same as the Ghibli collab with Loewe some time ago).
With both I have either childhood memories (Loewe) or just big love (Murakami). The Murakami pieces were the first LV pieces which drew me to LV and ignited my love for bags and also LV (I loved the MJ aera and MJs own line pieces - stam bag and co). Bags are also my kind of passion. I collect bags in the sense, that I like to own all bag models I like and will use (took some while to learn what works for me…).
After this frenzy I think I really have to abstain from TPF a while, to safe up again. 😅 Too much lure here.
Luckily for my bank account, I am not into sth like Hermes or Chanel, but LV prices really have reached heights I won‘t go.

How long are you staying in Japan? If you are there more than 5 days, LV boutique can order the item you would like if any other boutique in Japan have it in stock. I’ve done this many times, you can still get tax free so it’s great! You need to go to boutiques that are free standing, not the ones in department stores. They also can’t take items from web store (and pop up) so even if you see something available in Japanese LV website, you won’t be able to order if it’s sold out in domestic boutiques. Some small boutiques will tell you can’t order, I had better experiences walking into bigger boutiques in major city to order, they are more willing to help/order. I hope you find something you like!

Everything goes to StockX from the seller to be authenticated before it is shipped to you. I used it for a TM piece. Worked well and was fast for me.

Heard that the stock is super limited with this line and is only going to 7 stores in the US. There are no pre-orders here yet and my CA said its highly doubtful we are getting any....

How many similar bags is too many?
I have the Odeon MM from 2019.
Then I got the bi-color leather Boulogne in February.
Now I'm only offered the cherry blossom in Boulogne. Or nothing at all.

They are so similar. Should I opt out? I know many will say "you can never have too many speedys", but I don't think the same applies to Boulogne. What to do?

If I were you. I will take it. Murakami is special for me. And my plan is to collect from 3 drops.
I have boulogne then I sold it then I regret. It’s so easy to use and comfortable. Worry free (mine was mono with black), I wear it rain and shine, summer to winter.
I want to repurchase but I was waiting for empreinte version instead of mono, but the next thing I know, once Boulogne empreinte available, I am too busy chasing for Murakami. Oh well.. after Murakami season, I will buy Boulogne empreinte.
So if you like the style, go get it..
