This stinks! I hope they put more online the. Otherwise this is ridiculous and unfair to people who’s stores won’t get it..
i doubt this launch will go any better online than the mc did; it will be difficult to push an order through because they haven't adjusted any of their online infrastructure. i don't know how they could continue to botch this release. it's just sad...

I agree if not worse…my SA hasn’t even mentioned it to me and my store is pretty small so I am guessing she won’t get anything.

I checked with the overseas CA, she confirmed with me that if I pay for it, it just means I have a deposit with LV, but it doesn't mean it will be filled as Cherry Blossom has very limited quantities- even super clients are not guaranteed. And I'm not a super client she reminded me. And if it is not fulfilled, I have to use the money for other in-store items, so no refund. At this point, I cannot comfortably put down my money. So I have to walk away and leave the queue for other more brazen souls who actually have non-Murakami items they want just in case.

So it's only in the U.S. (and maybe Canada?) where you can get a refund to your credit card for a DEPWO? That's wild. I very glad to know this so I don't make a mistake if traveling abroad. And I guess I'm a bit surprised because typically consumers protections seem to be stronger in, say, the EU than in the U.S.

My SA said that I will get the DEPWO back, I’m in the EU

Thanks! Maybe I just misunderstood which countries and which form of transaction. Good to know about the EU!

We should try to diagram all of LV's policies by region, country and drop

I wish I had a rich husband too. But like Dr. Phil loves to say "when you marry rich, you pay every penny". Yes, that's very true. I see that with my friends.

I buy what I can comfortably afford. But this year is quite excessive. I have 2 bags and 1 PA already.

Definetely better if it is your own money you spent. Just have to justify for yourself.
Wow, this really is wrong, if they cannot fulfill your order they should at least refund you instead of making you buy anything else you probably don‘t want or park your money till sth comes along you want.

Yeah this really seems morally wrong. It’s annoying enough when brands won’t allow normal returns for certain collections, but at least it’s when you’re buying in store and have the item in your hands. They offer normal returns if you bought it online and couldn’t see it first. But in this case you don’t get to see it *and* you’re forced to spend with the brand even if there’s nothing else you really want. Come on, you’re not a small business relying on preorders to stay afloat!
