PS- the store was still crowded on opening day, so even though I took time to look at the SLGs, I didn't ask the SA for bags and stuff too much as they were clearly so busy. The popup store nearby had a huge queue,so that definitely took pressure off the flagship. I didn't need an appointment for any LV store, but you should be prepared to potentially queue. Not all LVs may have the cerises- i went to a smaller LV as well and they surprisingly did not have any Murakami stock, said to go to the major city ones.

Yeah, I get a real case of anxiety when I see a long line or when I see something I want for the first time. There's a huge difference between wanting something on my wishlist and seeing it in person. I will take your cues. Yes, I shop at big city boutiques. So if I don't find anything in those stores, I won't find them anywhere and yes, the prices back in US are higher. I just don't know if my travel dates will be lined up perfectly. Anyway.....

The LVs in department stores like Hankyu have good stock, too, some had Murakami, and you may be lucky and not have to queue at all or longer than a few minutes
I'm not sure if LV does tax free pricing instantly, especially if it's a department store location, because the dept stores usually have a tax refund counter on a separate floor. So allow time to potentially go up, say, 7 flights in a separate building, to get your refund. This is not just for LV either. Refunds are processed quickly, again they may have a short queue. If it's through a standalone LV flagship, it might be instant, without having to go elsewhere.

Especially the Superflat flowers stuff; the Speedy 20, Keepall and both NFs are all still available online now!

The MC Carry All and Venice have been available for mostly all this time. A few wallets like the Romy and Lisa are currently available too. Various other shoes, bags, hats, belts all currently Add to Bag. It’s pretty crazy compared to the ROTW 😄

This is online though, I’m not sure about the store situation! Cherry Blossom is also obviously much more limited than MC (and they may not allocate as much stock here this time?) but definitely try your luck!

In this case my travel dates is not in my control. I would love to just see the cerise collection in Japan. Wouldn't it be lovely? I think it will be very nice and if I get to buy a piece overseas, it would always remind me of the trip.

It’s hard to tell. Drop 1 zippy wallets were sold out in a few days.
Someone said US would also get zippy and victorine CB. I hope they’re right

First Murakami wave was such a mess. Collection officially dropped at about 9am ET in the US, but nearly everything was immediately marked to "Notify Me". Stock slowly started trickling in over the next hour or so, but it was a nightmare to get items successfully added to cart and even more of a nightmare to checkout if you could. I'm gonna prepare myself to be ready at my computer at 8am ET, and I already blocked off my work calendar so that I can focus

How many similar bags is too many?
I have the Odeon MM from 2019.
Then I got the bi-color leather Boulogne in February.
Now I'm only offered the cherry blossom in Boulogne. Or nothing at all.

They are so similar. Should I opt out? I know many will say "you can never have too many speedys", but I don't think the same applies to Boulogne. What to do?

If you like the bag style and the design I would go for it.
But that is me, if I know a bag version works for me and I will love using it, I would get it.

Yes, the Boulogne style works perfectly for me. I love it.
I also know if I miss this one, I will never have anything cherry blossom- NOTHING- that's for sure.

But I also know I definitely want something from the Cerise line. I feel like at this rate, my spending is out of control. But after Murakami, it's not like I shop regularly for handbags (at least not at Louis Vuitton).

@fettfleck How do you justify your spending? Or you just have unlimited funds?
