Fortunately, I didn't walk much in them - just from the car to the restaurant. But even that was too much!That's too bad! I feel your pain. My feet are narrow so I always have that problem. I've learned never to bring new shoes when traveling. I always bring the ones that have been tested with lots of walking already. That's true for bags too. I brought a bag I thought would be great on a trip and by the second or third day, my shoulder was aching.
I brought my old faithful boots to wear on the days I knew we'd be walking a lot. I *really* need to take them in for repairs but I keep wearing them! I have bought a replacement pair, but they seem dressier (quilted in the front) and they aren't broken in yet - and won't be unless I make myself take the old ones in!
