2018 resolution - shopping my own bag and wallet collection. Any one else?

Congrats on finally acquiring Diorama! Good point bringing up that Diorevers is heavy. It's stunning but can't use it as a work bag. Too heavy when I pack my PC, gym stuff etc. into it.

I can't believe I finally got the bag sold to the instalment buyer. YES, after over 100 messages in 3-4 months of waiting and finally travelled today 30 miles to bring the bag to her... Never again (or any time soon because I need to erase this experience first from my memory.) On the positive side, she loved it from the moment she saw it in RL and she even praised it's more beautiful than in the pics. Your doggie pic nailed my feelings.

What a HUGE relief! I'm so happy for you that this is finally over & done with. :annoyed:

But I'm glad she likes it, after all this. She certainly should! You have gone above and beyond!

Hurray! That your installment bag drama is at an end!!!

I love the Diorever but I’d have to get the smallest size if I ever got it. Same with the Capucines.

I’m absolutely in love with Dior’s Diorama. This will make my third. When a style works, it just works. I never have issues buying multiples (actually I tend towards it) as long as they clearly look different from each other.

It’s like the hunting and buying process is the bad boyfriend who is super fun to be with but no good. The owning and wearing go the bag is the amazing husband you actually can do life with. :lol:

IKR?! @ksuromax - I’m not sure how to feel when your snowman looks better accessorized than I ever do in the snow. Lol!

I also think of everything in Cost-of-Bag terms. Lol! I want new dining room furniture but all I can see is 4 or 5 lost bags. LOL!
Oooh! That store sounds super cool you have to shar your dress here when you get it.

And, I love that bag. I remember you telling us the story behind it before. Super cool and a must wear!!!

Is the gold colour more like vivid gold or dull gold? I got the black which I returned because the matte effect made it look too greyish dull.

:panic: OK... See... this is why I need to stay on this thread like a dry drunk at a 12 step program.

I’ve seen two more bags I want to get that break my “rules of acquisition.” Staying strong but barely.

On another note, I need another card holder. I’ve sold off the ones I wasn’t crazy about and need a black one and a neutral one (perhaps) grey. I don’t like preloved SLG’s so I need to bite the bullet and head to a store. Ugh!

Maybe focusing on the slg will get your mind off the other.

Hi all!!! Another year is coming to an end. It’s always been an amazing ride with you ladies - I haven’t been able to be as active in this year’s thread as much as I would have liked, but I love popping in and still seeing everyone cheering each other on! I’ll be starting 2019’s thread soon and look forward to old and new members, and everyone’s new 2019 resolutions!

For 2018, I wasn’t able to not buy any bags or slgs, but I did manage to reach my target of letting go 10 from my collection; also, everything I purchased has been put to good use! My very first purchase of 2018, has not left my side since I bought it in January - the only piece that I’ve used every day, for almost a year! That in itself amazes me haha. I definitely know it was a good buy. IMG_0009.JPG

Has everyone started thinking about their goals for 2019? I’ll be back later today to start the new thread, and can’t wait to see all the resolutions roll in!

Nice to see you, @eggtartapproved ! I love the little Burberry pouch... it's so festive. Glad you've been able to get so much use out of it.

Letting 10 bags/slgs go from your collection is amazing! And if you've been able to put your new purchases to good use, well, that's what this thread is all about... right?

Are you sure you need another card holder? Doesn't your wallet or a small pouch serve the same purpose, right?

Congrats on meeting your goals! I've been admiring metallics but never dare to pull the trigger. This is very insightful thread and I hope many of us can carry on shopping their closet or minimun shopping in the "closet" (at the shops) next year too! :coolio:
