Glad to know the challenge is working well for you! This is one gorgeous bag!!Second wear of the BV Cabat
i must admit i am enjoying my black bags a lot, and can't wait to switch to the next one, it's a darn great challenge![]()
Love this bag! And I particularly like this angle.
Congrats on the sale!! Do share if you get something from Chanel!Something interesting today.
“If there’s only one bag you could choose to carry, what it’ll be.” Is the question I’ve heard for too many times. And frankly speaking, I’ve never could answer it. I think I just have too many to pick.
Today, while driving, I heard that question again and it’s the first time my mind automatically run to my Chanel jumbo black cavier with SHW. I like that bag, but think I wear it less than 5 times. It feels more like a special event or funeral bag for me. Too recognizable. Too iconic. I don’t have any problem carrying other jumbo though. Isn’t it funny? [emoji848]
And since Chanel has a recap (?) runway in Bangkok for this cruise, I’m so dying to get a piece from this collection. Having the theme as a nautical is a plus, but I’m too busy with everything to go to town.
My trip is coming. I so hope I can score something at the airport or during the trip. Or I’ll have to wait until I’m back and have time to go to the boutique.
And I sold one bag! Yay! [emoji38][emoji38][emoji38]

It's very hard to buy a bag without proper knowledge or at least not for great success. Thank you very much for sharing the informative pics and candid insights which help me make my own judgement. I always try to buy a bag avoiding unnecessary returns. The process could turn up being very time consuming sometimes. I've been eyeing GP for a couple of years now, but this is my first time seeing gold (or any other neutral colour) stocked online in Northern Europe. I'm totally in love with the tan colour (or in fact, any tan coloured bag). Do you know does GP in Negonda weight 1 kg, 1,5kg, or more close to 2 kg without anything in it? I tried to google without luck.
@More bags
I wasn't planning to buy GP because I prefer shoulder bags but then I started to use my Bays 2 weeks in row, and now it feels natural.
So beautiful!!Ha! I weighed mine [emoji6] 36 Negonda is 0.9 kg. And today I am carrying my mole grey Bays [emoji4]

Your Coach is beautiful. I am biased...see my pic.Up for the challenge!
• [emoji818]️ Money matters - Pick 3 bags that have relatively low CPW and wear each of them at least 2x
- Here are the 3. I seldom wear them esp. the Mono. The DE Papillon I wore during my birthday week and that was it. Back to the closet again. The Coach Carryall spends its time mostly in the closet too bec. it's full leather and I'm scared to scratch it or something. Will do my best to use these for the challenge.

• Semi [emoji818]️ Thanksgiving - Give thanks for practicality. Wear your 3 most practical bags at least 3x times this month.
- Wore 1 of my 3 most practical bags (Elle) this 1st week of Nov. (here's an old pic with a VW wallet)

Switching now to another practical bag. A Vintage Celine Macadam crossbody. Not a carefree bag though for me. I baby it bec. it's vintage. If something happens to it, it will be hard to buy the same replacement. But it's practical bec. it has a lot of compartments but small at the same time.

My 3rd most practical bag would be another carefree bag, the Legato Largo.

• [emoji818]️ Black bag challenge(wear all your blacks at least 1x)
- Wore my one and only black bag this 1st week of Nov. Ms. Elle [emoji162]
breed in??All of you with the closet stories are cracking me up! DH and I share and have equal closet space except for the top shelf that holds all my bags.Neither of us has a lot of clothes or shoes, but the bags do multiply in there!
Your favorite is a beauty! The color is gorgeous!I’ve processed your questions myself over the last weeks.
I think my favorite is my Mulberry small Zipped Bayswater in Oxblood. It’s a very nice style for me (double-top handle and structured), oozing with wonderful leather smell and it’s at the middle (IMO) when it comes to brand leveling. I cannot wear (would seem too pretentious maybe) and maybe cannot afford casually brands like H and C. I like that Mulberry is not very well known in my country but that at the same time I love wearing a beautiful well made (though from Mulberry thread there are some quality issues as well) bag. I don’t wear it more just because I have a lot of other bags, and I also need variety from time to time!
In fact I am wearing her today:

My least favorite, maybe my Prada tote. It’s my first premiere purchase on my own. But then I may be to blame for poor storage before. I don’t like how it developed some fold mark/light creasing at the front.
Congratulations on sticking to and reaching your goal!Thanks for the warm welcome back! I’ve missed you all. Trying to finish my assignment right now but just wanted to say that I’ve also been more pro-active in downsizing my collection. Sold 2 bags today and I’ve REACHED ME GOAL for 2018 to let go of 10 bags or SLGs. Either selling, donating, or giving away. First time since I started these resolutions that I managed to reach the LET GO goal. Wooot!!! I brought bags and SLGs in this year, but they were at least much more well thought out than previous and a lot to do with my lifestyle change and the need for more backpacks and nylon bags.
I'm just beginning to learn and don't have wise advice, but want to say that you have a beautiful variety. I would use each one and write down how you feel about it. You might also find you prefer certain bags for seasons or uses that make them more or less useful. This year, I discovered I love certain versions of colors for different seasons. It might be just because this is new for me. You could put away all your bags that you don't want to wear this season, and they will be fresh again in the spring! Have fun! I agree with the posts to distract yourself from thinking about bags. If that doesn't work, create a fun challenge for yourself such as wear a different bag every day. Or play a game: pretend you can only keep half of them.ladies, lend me your ears...
<climbs carefully on to a soap box>
I’ve culled lots of bags over the past year. Contemporary designers, so no big deal in terms of the individual cost, but I gave away about 20+ bags over the past year to charity shops and probably about 10 SLGs.
I’m left with selected contemporary bags and lots of designer ones. I’m still curating and my purchases have slowed down, but over the past week I’ve just been feeling funny about my collection.
1) Chanel price increases have me thinking about whether I shouldn’t have already bought more bags if there’s any I want.
2) At the same time, I’m thinking I already own so many bags, I really shouldn’t spend more money (or wardrobe space) on them
3) I’m feeling a bit bored. The itch for a new bag, the “I have a wardrobe full and nothing to wear” feeling!!
Help me out, please.
Tell me I have plenty to wear and don’t need to buy new bags
For those who are feeling purse peace, inspire me please...
Thanks for taking time to weight it. Good to have 2nd confirmation. Your Bays is gorgeous in unusual colour.Ha! I weighed mine [emoji6] 36 Negonda is 0.9 kg. And today I am carrying my mole grey Bays [emoji4]
