Which one is more durable yet lightweight?
Both are durable I guess you have to beware of corner wear more with Epsom, Epsom is even lighter than Negonda.
Think about which colour too as not all colours come in all leathers.

Thanks for great advice! Epsom looks very carefree like Saffiano. I'll keep these two options in my mind if I end up buying a Hermes bag. Here are a couple of comparison shots both in Trench
1. VC
2. Epsom
Well done! It's hard to part with something we like... but that's what this thread is great for. On of the best lessons I've learned here: even if it's a really pretty bag, if I don't use it, it's better off going to a new home!Sold a clutch today. I really liked it but have not used it. So at least I am one out for the one in I had with the tote.
What a gorgeous bag! Congratulations!
I'm thinking that it was all stuffed-out for display too.
It's a beautiful bag, nothing, absolutely thing like an H Lindy. I like it was an entire family affair too he he.
Thanks ladies! I can't wait to receive it! And yeah, isn't it cute that buying it was a family affair.Look much better than stock photo. Beautiful bag!

@papertiger what are cons of Negonda calfskin? There is no H store in my country and most of them are made of Negonda calfskin or fabric.
it's gorgeous! congrats!Well, the spirit is weak...Gave the go signal to buy the black Leighton! My sister’s whole family (DH, DS, DD and their respective SOs plus grandkids) bought my bag last night. [emoji3] And I was with them too through Whatsapp video! [emoji3]
I think the proportion is a bit off in this photo. The bag appears too large. Well, my sister is shorter and with smaller frame than me. Here is she holding my bag at the boutique. [emoji3][emoji3]

I bought a negonda leather GP in August. I went for colour, rather than leather. I’d’ve been happy with VC but I don’t like Epsom personally. I’ve worn it pretty much constantly since then. It’s developing a bit of a slouch, which to my mind suits it, but I think the structure of the bag (seams at the sides and straps down the front and back) will mean it doesn’t puddle completely. And bear in mind it’s a tote, so it’s going to be full of your stuff anyway. I got caught in heavy shower the other day and the leather just shook it off, so that’s a big plus for me. I don’t want an everyday tote that’s going to be a wuss! Hope that helps.Cats has the Negonda, I have VC. There's no real con for Negonda, it dpends on what properties you need. Negonda is lighter than VC but durable, it's just more casual and naturally floppy than either VC or Epsom which both stay more upright. Epsom is the lightest but needs to be stored properly as dents and creases don't easily fall back into place. VC is the heaviest but for me OK, I carry it for work and shopping. I've had mine a couple of years and use it a lot and I love carrying it, I like the way things stay organised.
The only 'con' of a GP is they have no feet so I'm really conscious of not putting them down whilst waiting for the train etc. Because most of my other handheld do, I have to remind myself.

It has a smooth - almost a dry feel to it, hard to describe, and a lovely subtle sheen when the light hits it. It’s supple but not sleek like lamb. FWIW I have ordered a bag online from h.com and returned it because I didn’t like the colour (at all!). It wasn’t a problem at all, and I was refunded promptly. Thanks a lot for your insight! Does Negonda feels as luxurious as lamb? I saw they have added a gold one to their online store and I am (almost) totally sold! I have a weak spot for tan bags.
