2018 resolution - shopping my own bag and wallet collection. Any one else?

OMG my 2018 is not going so great.
So I sold my used SpeedyB 25, and bought a black bucket bag (JW Hulme) which I love, and then (oops) slipped again and picked up this cute Orciani in Pink.

The whole shopping in my closet thing is going poorly, but at least the # of bags seem to increase very slowly (is that good news?).

It's pretty. What does the JW Hulme look like. I have never bought one but I like the look of them.

I am sure he probably has one but how about a hand crafted chess set.
Cuff link?
Year ticket for his favorite basketball team?
Or a sampling set of unusual liquor? I used to see a set of 6 liquor made with different ingredients. Each bottle are very small like for a shot or two.
A whole day at a Spa retreat sigh massage and hot tub? My DH loves it.
Thanks for the suggestions!
They left the protective stickers on... [emoji15]

Ack! Why? Tacky.
You have good eyes! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Actually, my new-to-me Diorissimo also have stickers on most of the hardware, too. I guess the previous owner loves it too much to take it off?
I don’t get it. It’s like walking around in an outfit with dry cleaning plastic on.
Not my discovery - but yes, I can see it!

Once I saw really bad discolouration on an H B - I take them away asap. A woman bought the bag preloved in Tokyo, moved right in and in the elevator I saw how she pulled the stickers away and was not happy with the metal beneath. I felt for her and this experience sticks...
I wouldn’t be happy at all either. People need to just use their bags. Sheesh.
ugh! I just saw the perfect bag for all my outdoor shows. It is a tumi crossbody in the Nordies early access sale. The old tumi I use now could still work just the metal closure drives me bonkers and I need a bit more space. What would you do?
Get it. It’s functional and needed.
Off to a water park for the day and just found out a dear friend died just at her 28th birthday.
I’m sorry to hear about this.

It might be more fun. The Lv stuff does not look very comfortable for the dog. I haven't looked in a long while but their old dog carriers were not comfy.

The carriers are too small for my dog. She grew a bit since I've had her.
The collars are cute. She wears a harness (which usually coordinates with the collar) so it's just to hang her tags on and be an accessory at this point.

Definitely loving all the new additions that are from the not mainstream brands! It's pleasing to see so many different takes on classic shapes in such lovely leathers and colors!
Same here. This thread is college for me.
I don't post much, and I should be taking pix of some new stuff. Meanwhile, do we have any challenges going on?
@Sparkletastic : I also enjoy it when you are bored and become philosophical and analytical! So informative.

I've been in my Hawaii Neverfull for almost 2 weeks now. I didn't change bags since it's been pretty busy around here.

It's been a while since I've worn the same bag for 2 weeks.

Question for the group:
Have you adopted schedules or methods to ensure usage of your collection?
Or just go with the flow of your daily outfit?
How do you accommodate new purchases?

I have been scheduling weekly switches for my handbags to ensure I rotate through them, taking into account the season, what I may be doing, which fit for work, which are better for the weekend.

My outfits are pretty plain, so I don't have to think much if my bag and outfit don't go.
