Good luck on your surgery, Spark! You've really had a rough few months... glad it's finally going to be over. And, I have my last surgery today. Wish me luck!![]()
This is lovely! Terrific color. Use it in good health! To kick off the month and kill off this month's quota, I received a box today and inside is something I've been looking for for a long time.
I love this bag since it came out, never get a chance to try one until it's gone, but somehow think this can be the right size (which lucky me it is), and finally, after years, I finally found one in the color that I love and the exact size that I like, and in a price that's too good to miss.
So, my addition for this month, a medium size Diorissimo in raspberry. [emoji4]

Good luck on the surgery. sending healing thoughts!
Luck luck luck!!!
Sending best wishes and good luck for your surgery. Congratulations on your decision to send your black patent flap out the door. I also enjoyed your satchel analysis. I hope you have a speedy recovery.
Thanks for all the well wishes. The surgeon is running behind so I’m in pre-op veeeeery bored!I wish you the best of luck for the surgery on Monday! Good luck!
Completely agree! This is too much money to spend and too important a bag to my collection to compromise. I’m just glad the patent will be on it’s merry way to a new home without me being terrified of fraud. Then, don’t get them. Hold on to your money. Let those merchants fight for them.
Oh! I thought reissues were single flap? Wonder why I had that idea. Mr. S is a big fan of reissues. I’m still not sold. I think it’s the wrinkles on most of them.Reissue always comes in double flap unless it’s a special seasonal design that’s based on the real reissue. Yeah... quite unlikely when combine with lamb and ruthenium hardware.
IKR? I’m mad at myself that I left without getting it yesterday. I’m going to hobble in on Monday and grab it.Get that wallet! Fast! [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]
LOL! I only get intimidated at car dealerships. So I research to death and get armed to do battle. LOL! I hate buying cars.Unless I determine to buy something for sure, all boutique intimidate me. I feel like the SA are out for my money. But then again, I’m such a chicken. Even the BA at MAC intimidate me. [emoji28]

Thanks!Good luck with the surgery! Hopefully after this you will be DONE!
I can understand they can be tired of the requests but it’s their job to respond, serve and sell. I started my career in sales and have managed sales people. Anything less than warm, helpful and enthusiastic service is completely unacceptable in a salesperson. No excuses. It’s like saying a chef gets tired of cooking the same thing on the menu or a mechanic gets tired of servicing the same car. Customer service is their job.I used to find LV SAs to be very snobbish, but that’s changed over the years. I think they may have put some effort into changing their culture.
With Hermes, I think some of the SAs — especially in more touristy areas — just get tired of people walking in and asking for a Birkin right off the bat. If you approach them about a scarf, bracelet or non-Birkin or Kelly bag, they’ll probably loosen up right away. Although it also really depends on the store. Many H SAs really love it when they find you appreciate the history of the brand and the quality of the product, rather than just looking for the It Bag.
Thanks! Me too! I’m so tired of this.Good luck on your surgery, Spark! You've really had a rough few months... glad it's finally going to be over.![]()
Cute charm! Love it. How did you manage to keep your NF being so pale? I got mine after yours but mine has already turned into honey colour. I don't mind tough, till it turns to dark muddy brown...Finally have a chance to take a pic of my bag!

I’ve been carrying this one all week, with my cute LV dog charm!
It’s getting hot out there, hope everyone stays cool! [emoji41]
The first time I went into an LV boutique was the fall of 2016. LV simply hadn't been on my radar before then. Quick update: I love Tod's luxurious tote but the leather is too soft for every day use so it's going back.
Thanks all for helping me resist to buy the black mini bag. I found out that the structure can't handle heavy items so I probably can resist from buying till end... I don't wish any bags would fall apart due to weight of a water bottle.... *sigh*
@Sparkletastic Good luck with your surgery and get well soon!

DH and I were in San Francisco, and my knee had a major fail right in the middle of our trip, so I was in a world of hurt.I was definitely NOT looking my best! No makeup, no energy to mess with my hair, and in yoga pants because my knee was swollen too badly to get my regular pants over it.
I hobbled into the boutique, and DH (who is super-protective of me) asked whether they could bring me a chair while I looked at bags. The SA immediately rushed to accommodate us! She brought EACH of us a chair, offered us coffee, and then started showing us the bags I was interested in. She let me take all the time I needed, and in the end I left with my adorable red Capucines BB. The experience cemented my relationship with both that particular SA and LV in general.

Well, 5 months later I had knee replacement surgery, which gave me a titanium knee. It took about a year of rehab, but now I'm now the bionic woman!I love your red Capucines. I also long for a Capucines but I can’t decide which size or color.
Glad to hear LV was kind to you! Hope your knee has gotten better since then. [emoji4]
