Interesting that your husband doesn't like the design of the PS. A couple of years ago DH and I were in San Francisco and went into Neiman Marcus specifically to check out PS bags, because I was quite sure I wanted one. Now, understand that DH is very supportive of my bag habit, and he gets involved in the process, so he was definitely prepared to love this bag. But the minute he saw it, his first reaction was "ugh." And when I quizzed him, he said it made him think of the Pony Express riders!Yep, I had been using the PS for the crossbody. Maybe that can suffice. It would be nice to not have to buy a bag or sell this one. It’s the one Mr. S says is homely.
I don’t think it’s high fashion but homely seems a little harsh. LOL! The only issue I have with this bag is the chain strap is a little uncomfortable. And you know I love a chain strap. This bag weighs next to nothing so I can’t figure out why it can be uncomfortable when none of my others are an issue. So I think I envisioned a leather strap.

Of course, once he said that, I couldn't get the image out of my mind, so that was the end of that. I suppose it didn't help that the one I was eying was a camel/tan/beige color, so it kinda did look like a mail pouch...
