Here’s my Kate Spade leather planner. I haven’t used it much since I’ve transitioned to the calendar on my iPhone, but don’t want to get rid of it either. It’s a perfect shade of red, and feels so nice to hold.

The inserts are always fun, too.

Love that! Is it real pigskin or boarskin or print? So hard to find these days

Thank you! And - get well soon, Elaine and Sparkle! [emoji253]

I think, I have to elaborate on that. I am already two bags in, this year, but the itch is strong. I am lacking green, blue and multi-colour in my collection. A lot of my bags are excellent for work, big enough for sheets of paper. So, I could do something on the smaller side, for weekends and more casual outings. This Kate Spade was on my list - which is somehow sad now - but I would get a lot more all year round use from the Coach Parker. And I am lusting for these BV bags but have to wait for the day they might become available... at a good price... To sum up: I would love to find something new but do not want to spend a four digit sum at the moment. The Parker ticks all the boxes but I am confused nevertheless. We are going to an open air concert on Saturday, this would be a perfect occasion to wear it. I will see. Scroll down for pictures!

Great choices, that little basket is too cute. I could very happily have and wear any of these

Thank you! Yes, I have a feeling I am a bit all over the place with my wish list. But hey, it is a wish list... And yes, the Kate Spade would be a special occasion summer bag - that is why I did not get it in the end. It is very pretty still! My clothes are mostly without prints and as the colours of the Parker feel like „my colours“ I think it will work. DBF is pro-Parker in the meantime. And I sent a friend some pictures and she found that it is very „me“.

I think it will work! As it is thought as a weekend or evening out bag for me, I have to try it with more casual clothes this weekend.
That's PERFECT then!!! Yay!!!

You know a Samsonite bag took me through my entire undergraduate course. My BF at the time was apparently so sick of seeing it on me she threatened to cut it off my shoulder ha ha. I really wish I'd known about this line (I also missed out on the McQueen skeleton case but my mother thought it was far too macabre and was so heavily against (me buying) it.
I loved this line- I happened to see an ad for it in a magazine, when I happened by the physical store the next week- lucky coincidence! The ad was just so striking I remembered this cute beauty case.
Coincidentally AMQ came out with a very similar one (though lunchbox-shaped) a few years after, which I ended up with from an online clearance, though since it's a redundant buy to this one, I've never carried it. Lesson#1!!! I still love it, though... it was my 'backup' since I figured it would die soon with all my use! I even use it at times when I'm not traveling but just need a regular extra heavy-duty something! Such a useful, versatile bag. After more than a decade, it's inspired me to run out and get a bona fide circle-bag purse!

Great choices, that little basket is too cute. I could very happily have and wear any of these
I loooove the basket!!! But seriously, I find them too scratchy to not be bothered while carrying.

Momasaurus, I used to use a Moleskine and just started using Filofaxes a few years ago. I wanted to be able to add/remove pages, and the leather is so beautiful. My favorites are the Malden and Lockwood. Buttery leather. I miss the compact Moleskine size but enjoy the leather too much to give up the Filofaxes.
Sooooo tempting. Thanks for the tips. The Malden is beautiful, but zipping is also nice....And leather.....

I thought I was impressed by Massaccesi unboxing experiences (because the bag inside always feels and smells special) but now I have received a purse in its own fancy box with ribbon and I think I'm spoiled! From Latvia, designer Anna Kruz.

If you are enthusiastic about indie bag love please go check out my dedicated reveal thread. I've never done one before and I feel a bit silly because well, the box isn't orange or Chanel and I don't know how many TPFers care about bags under$500. But with the recent threads about bags without the BS and little known high value brands I thought maybe that's changing a bit....

Uh, that would be great, thank you! I missed an occasion to buy the BV Loop bag in krim new online because it was not the right time. Now it is sold out in Europe. I know the size and shape will work, I tried it on in another colour. (I do not actually need it, though.) The BV Cabat in barolo is so beautiful, however, I worry a bit about the size and occasions to wear / use it. Whether I keep the Coach Parker or not, I should sit on my hands and watch the preloved market to be ready to snatch when the right BVs appear...
Diane's got a Cabat in Barolo and it's dreamy, very easy colour, basically next-to-black neutral
i am done with Cabats, at least for now, i wanted a mini - i got it, but my alerts are still on and get email notifications every time something new is listed, so it's not a problem to alert you if i see one fitting the bill ;)
on the size, i'd say both mini (won't be Barolo anyway) and medium are great everyday sizes, i posted a lot of pics in BV threads, and a few comparisons in the ref library, you can check what fits in (need to add my mini to the comparison thread as well) to see if that would work for you :)

Got my first rainbow hardware bag! An Etsy maker in Australia did it for me, her shop is called PurJus.

I also feel good about replacing my deep blue Africa mm midi angel that I traded with a TPFer for my first mulberry. This metallic navy is even better than deep blue Africa, the grain is not so pebbly as that one was and it's softer and less laminated feeling to the touch. It smells very leathery and feels very leathery. I think this woman has the best metallic leathers I've ever had the honor of seeing and handling in real life. And nice of her to source rainbow hardware for me.

This is my most unstructured bag! Hope I can cope!

Went to the mall w/ Mr. Sparkle yesterday. :oh: Gosh how I hate the mall.

But, I saw some things... and...

I wanna new bag
I wanna new bag
I wanna new bag

Notice - I said I want a new bag. I didn’t say I want a particular bag. I’m just in new bag depravation mode. Eek! Trying to stay strong til I’m sure something is “the one”.

That being said, that little pink Fendi nothingness is still on my mind... I’ve started planning outfits - that’s a dangerous stage.

Good question! It will fill a gap, it is a step into unknown territory - multi-colour [emoji6] - and it is exciting. But somehow I am not 100% sure. Tonight I have a big work event - after that, I can relax and see how I feel with it. Chances are good that it will stay!

I have to admit that I am the dissenter on the planner thing. I put everything into my calendar which syncs with iCloud into all my devices and would not be lost with my phone. I have to because with a 6 person family there's so much coordination happening with my husband and I and we have a family calendar that all entries immediately show up on one another's calendars, but when I put in an entry I choose whether it's a family calendar entry or just for my eyes only and that way I have one calendar with all my entries in purple and the family events in green. It works really well and pen and paper would never work for my husband keeping me abreast of his comings and goings for work trips and my designating times that I go on my own somewhere and he needs to hold down the fort with the kids.

Plus I don't think I would want to weigh myself down with an agenda, no matter how gorgeous it is, after 5 years in a row with a diaper bag I an streamlining what I carry as much as humanly possible and am brutal about what cosmetics I'm willing to carry and put my sunglasses in a leather pencil case because it saves so much space compared to a hard shell, and went from continental wallet which I loved to a card holder which now allows me to use smaller bags most of the time and lighten my load a lot!
I’m the same. I aggressively try to keep what I carry to a minimum. And I put everything in my phone which, as you mentioned, synchs so I won’t lose anything.

Yes we need to do this and also lists in the cloud! Especially the grocery shopping list is crucially shared through iCloud on our family account so he can update the shopping list and so can I and it immediately changes on the others' phone.
