Okay, update on the purse front: I returned bag number three... It was a LC LP SH in S which I bought preloved. Condition and price were great but the handles differed considerably in length!?!? Never encountered this before and it made me quite suspicious. Then, the bag I ordered arrived yesterday: It would be my first Coach bag and is multi-coloured, the Parker. I thought of a smaller, casual weekend bag. Weight of 0.6 kg is ok. Alternative would be the BV Olimpia but the second hand market situation is confusing, it costs a lot more and would not be as carefree. And I would chose a timeless colour, most probably. Now I have to see whether the Parker really matches my wardrobe. The colours are the colours of my other bags, black, grey, camel and pink. Any thoughts?

I think this is a great bag. Although I’ve been happy to see Coach bounce back and up their quality in recent years, they styles haven’t drawn me in.

This bag however, instantly caught my eye. It’s such a cute and carefree flap bag. Interesting but not fussy.

And I am all about multi colored bags lately. I just think they are so cute and give an outfit depth. I really want to add one or two to my collection.

I think this is a win. Enjoy!!!

I find this pretty! But you have to make sure that you will use it. There are people who do not care about matching. But if you do (I do too!), you have to check that the colors will not prevent you from using the bag.
I narrowly missed bidding on and likely buying an “almost” black tote (there was only one bidder). It was a crazy low priced pre loved Chanel tote that would have functioned very well for my non work travel.

Buuuuuuut, I wasn’t in love with it, I just liked it (mainly because the price was so low). It had big C’s so it wouldn’t have been good for work. And, it was too big for a cute little run around fashion tote. So, it wouldn’t have been a smart buy

But, it’s killing me because it was a great price and (falsely) feels like it could have been a solution. Argh!

Do any of you ever feel silly about having to talk yourself through bag purchases. I don’t have this irrationality in any other category (except maybe books and the worst thing there is I end up with something for $8 that I just easily give away.) I like jewelry more than bags but am always pretty thoughtful about what I buy. And, oddly, participating in a jewelry forum would be boring to me. I almost never go to the jewelry section of TPF.

I tell myself this is my hobby so no big deal. It’s like being a car nut or oenophile. But, some times I really think - Spark, what is the deal with you and handbags???? :whut:
Remember that you wouldn't want to settle! Just because the bag is available for cheap!

Here’s my Kate Spade leather planner. I haven’t used it much since I’ve transitioned to the calendar on my iPhone, but don’t want to get rid of it either. It’s a perfect shade of red, and feels so nice to hold.

The inserts are always fun, too.

I *loved* using a planner (Filofax, if anyone is as old as I am, LOL) and playing with all the tabs and charts and inserts. I've transitioned to medium sized moleskins, but still don't have everything on the iPhone. I did not even know Kate Spade made a planner system - from everything you've said (and these cute pix) I'm almost tempted to revive it!

I’m having a hard time deciding which bags to take on my upcoming trip. It will be rainy per forecast. I have my trusty Longchamps, but I really would have wanted to carry something else. I was eyeing the Proenza tote as it is lightweight, but since it’s nubuck then NO! I’ve decided against the Massaccesi midi Angel because of weight. Normally when we leave the (Airbnb) apartment in the morning, we come back already in the evening. So lightweight is important. Plus the bag should be big enough for a jacket/sweater. I think I will end up with my Longchamps...No issue really except that every trip my bag photos are the same. [emoji18]

I think I'm going to take only a jujube mom bag with insulated pocket for snacks on my family trip this summer. That's it. Traveling light! My girls can pack what they need in their own backpacks and of course the boys can so I'm just going to mostly wear my mom's clothes and bring nothing with me other than just essential personal belongings like my iPad, Kindle, bras and undies and insulated water bottle.
I will have 4 Etsy purses ordered in April delivered to my mom for me to collect there so my carry on will have those inside on the way back and 5 lightweight summer sundresses I ordered on eBay that are easy dressing for very hot and humid weather that I'll roll up and stuff into the bags that are likewise Russian doll style packed into my carry on.

Love your agenda! I'm the same way. I really don't need an agenda at this point, but I can't get rid of mine either.

I still prefer agendas. I tell people I have to check y agenda at home before I can commit to something. It helps when they are standing next to me and it’s not something I want to do. Also if my phone got stolen or lost I would not loose all my appointments.

 I know what you mean! I don't use my phone either, but I don't need a big agenda. I have a small, monthly calendar that I keep in my weekender bag with my laptop. My problem is I don't have a poker face, so when someone invites me to something I don't want to do, they usually know the answer is "No" before I open my mouth.

What a fun design... it looks like licorice candy! How do you anticipate using it?

Travelling light... sounds like a good plan! Those sundresses sound adorable, and perfect for the hot weather.
