Bag C has arrived!! Just as I hoped and expected it got to me Friday. I put the order Monday morning. [emoji3] I wouldn’t have given this a chance had I not tried the non-nubuck version IRL. I like the simplicity of this tote.

First time for me to own a nubuck bag, gosh, it’s so soft!! And I love that it hugs me well! And I love this color called Heather Grey. [emoji173]️ And it weighs 1.9lbs on my luggage scale which is on the light side for me.

So here is my Proenza Schouler Medium Tote! [emoji173]️[emoji173]️

It’s nothing fancy as the Altuzarra bag, but I’m happy with this!! Bag A was the non-nubuck version of this. There were several colors at heavily discounted price: turquoise, coral, orange, blush and brown. I was leaning towards blush. But what I needed really was grey, so I went for this. If there was fuchsia I would have gone for that.

This is a beautiful forever bag, the nubuck leather speaks for itself eve in pics

We talked about Memorial Day sales and I’ve started to succumb. LOL! But not for bags...just yet.

We’re traveling to see Mr. Sparkle’s family which has been fun. Along the way we went shopping and he-who-is-enabler bought me some super cute things. :yahoo:

I mentioned I’m starting a reboot on my shoe collection. @missie1 - it’s finally beginning. LOL! I got some fun, going out (comfortable!) shoes at Fendi and Alexander McQueen. I think the Fendis will be cute with jeans and a cute top. The AQ’s are great with flirty dresses. I love the pink AQ’s so much I swapped them out for what I was gonna wear last night. Even with a broken toe on my left foot and, a soon to be removed bone spur on a toe on my right foot, these were comfy enough to walk around in and wear all evening. Ha! Take that toe gods. Ya gotta love that.

The orange Fendi shoe looks super busy. I didn’t even want to try it on. But, magically it really “works” when worn. View attachment 4080100
I love girly pink and, AQ’s styling gives the shoe edge so it works for my style. Plus the leather is scrumptuos and chewy. Loooooooove!

I really need some shoe basics but I’m happy to get some purely fun shoes just because.

We also got this gorgeous gown at Fendi. I looooove the chiffon pleated panels on the skirt. They quietly swish when I move. And, I don’t like pearls but somehow I love this beading. We’re going on a couple’s weekend trip with some friends in a few months and this will be perfect for one of the nights. So, yay!

Now to bags...:graucho:

Mr. S saw this adorable and super frivolous Fendi Mon Tresor and thought I should get it. It’s a teeny bit more pink than the photo and the metal reads rose gold. I have no idea when / where / how I’d wear this bag. LOL! I don’t think my collection is at the point of adding bags that serve no foreseeable purpose. So, it stayed at the store. But it’s fun!View attachment 4080099
We’re headed from Charlotte to Atlanta this afternoon which has great shoppping. I may look around a bit there. :amuse: Anybody else, doing some unexpected shopping?

Yes to the shoes, gown and that little bag is actually really lovely, reminds me of my Sonia Rykiel Domino bags. How I wanted one, in the end gave in to a little black one. Very good for evenings.

Can I be honest and say I don't see you with that AW bag.

I think I’m finally at purse peace and it’s such a weird feeling!! Usually I’m always looking at bags and have a few on my wish list that I occasionally dream about, but lately bags haven’t been stirring up any desire in me whatsoever. Clothes, shoes, and jewelry yes, but not really any bags. I became briefly interested in the YSL sunset woc a few weeks ago after seeing this picture of it online, but I instantly forgot about it.

When I was out shopping yesterday I saw it on display in different colors and decided to check it out— I was horrified. The leather was so stiff and felt kind of cheap; I didn’t even bother trying it on. A bit disappointing because I otherwise like how the bag looks, but it’s probably for the best since I think I have enough bags for now :P

That's such a let down, at least it did't test your resolve too much.

Man crickets chirping around here! How's everyone spending the weekend?
We cleaned our terrace and did yard work and planted new flowers and worked on landscaping and I'm very pleased with how the property looks all the way around the house. I even made sure there was a colorful welcome in the driveway and hanging from pots going down outdoor stairs on one side of the house between house and garage, to the backyard, basically a happy colorful scene outdoors combined with perfect weather! Yay!
Hosting a ladies sauna and swimming (there's a lake and public swimming pier 80 M/yards from our back yard) evening on my backyard terrace in a couple of weeks and another few parties when we get back from visiting my mom so I'm glad I'm getting it into attractive and festive shape. I had neglected it so bad with grad school and kid duties but with the semester over I'm able to do other things!!

That's so great, you sound so proud and you should be, very well done.

This month I have not been to good and am still waiting for the Mz Wallace Sale. I have been working hard to get rid of the ones that don’t work great and replacing them with ones that do. We have had so much crazy weather this year and even though I am not crazy about saffaino type leathers I bought a second blue Furla bag in this kind of leather. The darker blue tote I bought from them worked so well in winter, that I bought a satchel in a lighter blue for spring/summer. We have had so much rain lately my white bag does not get to come out to play. What have you been carrying lately? I carried my Furla tote yesterday to make sure the color I was buying was truly lighter and it was raining. Lol

Pouring here as I'm writing. Honestly, the garden needs it so I can't complain but it does alter the bags I carry

Speedy 20

Sunday’s bag was a Disney backpack from DBF, since I took Bella to Santa Monica for a super long walk.

Today is possibly my Chanel bag as I planned earlier this weekend, but maybe I’ll change my mind to something else.

We’ve had such perfect weather this weekend, I hope everyone is also enjoying the long weekend! [emoji177]

I also sold my Bally bag! Yay! I got a great amount back for it since I got it during a sale. [emoji4] hoping to sell two more bags this year.

The Bally isn’t really an out since I considered it luggage. There’s one more luggage bag and one handbag left to sell.

That LV is a beauty

Congratulations on you sale. I don't have any Bally but I've always been impressed ad a friend works for them now.

Confession time. I have been thinking whether I should declare or not, but this thread is all about accountability, right? I’m happy with the bags but I’m not really happy with myself. This happens when I am able to sell some stuff.

So, on May 21 I placed the order for the Proenza tote. (Delivered on May 25.) But then on May 24, I could not help but avail of the preview sale at Selfridges (and I have Selfridges+ which qualifies me for free shipping on eligible items for 1 year). I have previously seen this bag online and it has caught my interest. One good thing about Selfridges is that for most items, it removes the UK VAT.

Again, the spirit is weak, so I succumbed to temptation. I thought initially of getting the oxblood since I love my other oxblood, but then I tried to imagine having it on my shoulder. I opted to get it in another color instead.

Hopefully my last purchase in a while! Mulberry Camden in Dune. She arrived yesterday, May 28. And my Mautto canvas strap works well with it for a more casual look/longer strap drop. As you can see, I’ve been leaning towards shoulder carry lately.

I know we are all trying to be good, but that bag is wonderful, congratulations

I now M die-hard fans will wince but I really love Mulberry's new bags, this one is stunning. Suddenly, beige bags look soooo right.

@papertiger I don’t have anything left handbag wise from childhood. Some jewelry for sure though!

@dcooney, how many more do you have left?

@msd_bags, not sure if I’ll replace the Bally. I don’t know what would be a great tote to use as a personal item, versatile for use in the city/daily life, and be worry free. The Longchamps I have do all that.

I’m trying to get rid of big bags that don’t have versatility. So too big totes? Can’t keep them.

I love your Mulberry bag! I think it was a good purchase, but it definitely sounds like you need time to enjoy all the new goodies you’ve just brought into your collection [emoji4]
I think about 7 regular bags and 2 sport bags and slgs. Though the slgs I still haven't decided what to do with them. I am also debating to let go of some lv bags but since I can't replace them easily I am in no hurry for those.

Thank you!
Bally is truly well made and is not flashy at all. It was my mistake buying such a large bag. There’s an outlet here that sells the older styles so I might revisit the brand again one day.
