The boys don't care about a bag until they see a tassel or a charm, then they think it's attack the bag time. I have mine on shelves in my closets, not always the handiest, but does keep little claws and teeth away.
i keep my bag-of-the-day on a small shelf, which is within reach for the kitties, but i make sure nothing is hanging down from the shelf, no tassels, no charms, no key fob, etc, to prevent attracting their attention :D
strictly one bag out, all others are in the closed closet in their dust bags

lol it's a sanity break
by the way, a question for all cats lovers - how do you protect your bags from the sharp claws???
high shelf/hook? cover? hiding the bag straight in the closet??
my lil ones like to play with Balenciaga tassels (in particular) and fluffy charms, if any is attached to the bag.... DH has made a hook on the wall for my bag-of-the-day, but it's not very convenient for me, tbh....

I think it's harder for to protect for kittens and indoor-only cats. Outdoor cats have more amusing entertainment outside.

My DH started playing with shoe laces etc and I told him off. Shoes, bags charms etc are not for plying with so he shouldn't be training them that way. Also keep your scarves up high as they 'flutter' in a very tempting way sometimes ;).

OK, so, yes mostly high-up, top-shelf and current rotation on top of the piano. I don't mind if they want to sleep on my LV mono suitcases, they don't harm them. I will air and decrease scarves between wears over the back of a chair but I don't leave them laying around or near the floor. If any bags are out take charms and dangles off.

My 2 prefer ruining my vintage piano stool, the leather Chesterfield (it's always covered but sometimes there's a square inch) and there's always a scratching post and a new cardboard box for before dinner sharpening but still I don't take chances.

That's a great idea. I should set something up like that.

A couple had Calvin and Hobbs before I did, but took them back to the rescue because their dogs didn't like them. The one good thing these people did do was train them to scratch only on scratching posts, so the boys are good in that area. Now talk about who thinks they own the whole house......lol!!

they definitely trained me to be more organised :D scarf goes straight to the bag once i step in the house for a break, or, if i am back after work, off it goes to the storage.
most of them have fringe, so it's a no-no :nono:
we have a scratching post on the kitchen door frame, as well as one of older pleather chair, given to their full entertainment

soooo sweeet!!!!
we washed ours today, he has very long hair, but very short legs (yet) so yes, mess is regular thing in his life
lol sounds like such a cutie!
Oh, he's a beauty!
Thank you! Yours are gorgeous too!
He's beautiful
Thanks Pessie :)
Hi All! DD's graduation weekend! :smartass: I've been carrying my gold Chanel Boy as my "daily bag" on this trip. Also wore it to grad ceremony #1 last night. I love it. Gold is a great neutral and this bag transitions so well from casual to neutral!!!

But I switched to my hot pink Miss Dior for grad ceremony #2. It just finished and I'm in my rental car with the AC blasting waiting for DD to finish hugging all her new fellow alums!!

I love this bag. I haven't worn it or her blue sister much because of the yucky weather. I forgot how much I adore these bags. So cute and so roomy!!!

I try to be good about putting my bags back into the closet when I get home but I get lazy sometimes. And my cat knows how to get into my closet and LOVES going in there to mess up my clothes haha. Thankfully he doesn't seem too interested in my bags. I'm guilty of just leaving them out especially if I know I'm not switching bags the next day, and he seems pretty content with just sniffing the leather.

Back to ostrich. Raining here everyday too, happily ostrich does not care, thank goodness for exotics that look better with age (no way I'd take any other skins out with the weather we're having). This was one of my few impulse buys actually, light and strong and so beautifully made, it's so useful in the Summer, a real shopper that expands and contracts so easily (and with 4 zipped compartments).

I guess I won't be going anywhere far for a while since my baby found a new nest

These are No 5 and 3,
5th - tiny grey male, he is all grey, thus Remy, after a mouse from Ratatouille, he was sitting in the middle of the road, i nearly ran over him, still don't know how i managed to move the car to the side to leave him between the wheels!!! Then i parked and was running back like mad to check on him!! And when i saw him safe and alive i just could not leave this poor thing behind...
3rd - Fiesta, almost a teenager, she was stuck in the car between the engine and all belts and pipes, was scared to death.... long story, hubby brought her home, he could not pass by either ....
So adorable!

Closet and high shelves.

Poirot (he's such a sweetie - except to his brother). I have two too, both rescues and both tabbies, both boys and from the same litter but their stripes go in different directions and have very different characters. I even have to give them different food for goodness sake.

What are your orange sweethearts called and are they related?

Love the name!

Chanel mini for the weekend. Will probably stay in this for tomorrow as well. Still my most loved and used bag!

Love your mini! And your baby bump style!

Poirot, sweet name. I laugh when you say they sometimes don't get along.
My boys are Calvin and Hobbs, brothers from the same litter and I got them from a rescue as well. One minute they'll be fighting and then the next they'll be curled up together napping!

Omg you all are so great with naming cats!
And they're so pretty!

How adorable! 5 is so tiny!

Glad to hear you are on the mend! I am traveling, we have a long weekend - I brought my Etain Bolide 31!

Thank you!
Love your Bolide!
