Do you still have the gap bag? Maybe it is in there.
I do. It was in the little holder for plastic bags in the kitchen. Unfortunately, no receipt. :confused1:
Your packing is amazing!

I LOVE the White & Warren wrap. I only have one but it's so useful. I would love multiples if I ever find them on sale.

No bags from me this week or last....no metallics, no embellished. I'm really boring. All I have left are red and blue which I think happened before i joined this thread
I haven't added anything technically BUT my SO Kelly finally came back from Paris so I actually have it with me now.
Friday was my birthday and DH and I stopped into the local Hermès so I could show the SM my new bag and DH could pick up a little gift  They loved the special order so much that they gave me ANOTHER special order slot. The thing with these is they are pretty hard to refuse. So, I will eventually have another Kelly, a small one this time. By the time it arrives I will probably have re-homed one of the others. I really love my K32 sellier but it's way more elegant than I am, sigh!

I have done some clothes shopping as we are moving to a cooler climate with different standards of dress - but no bags. I am feeling a lack of SLGs but I have been "good".
Thanks for the compliment on packing. I feel like it's my packing tour de force. LOL!
I'm really happy with the W+W wrap. Like you I would defintiely want another one day.
I'm sooooo excited about your SO Kellys!!! Hermes is a black box to me but I see so many beautiful bags. I love the Kelly and have been warming to the Birkin. But I also like a lot of the others. Do you know what direction you'd like to take with your next K?

Remind me, are you an SLG person in general? Or is this a passing fancy? I'm not an SLG girl but every now and then I get a craving.
Thank you! [emoji4] That embroidered one is a souvenir from my mom. I just simply keep everything she gives me. [emoji28]
I don't know. I want to keep it coz it's cute and I actually search high and low to at least get a piece of this season. And I like the look of it. I may try to use it a gain and see how that change. [emoji4]

Oh... I think I know what purple you meant. Chanel made fabulous purple! This will be tough to resist. ;) Good luck! [emoji16]
It seems like you really love the Prada. So maybe you can make it work. Perhaps carry it on days when you have a second bag like a tote?
The purple Chanel is the Lion single flap. I like it because it's different from what I have. But like I said, it would have been a very bad purchase for me. :-s I was motivated mainly because the price is great. Never a good (sole) reason to consider a bag.

In the morning I fly to my hometown for DD's graduation ceremonies on Fri & Sat. I'm sooo excited!!! :yahoo: Brazen Mommie brag moment: DD is graduating Summa Cum Laude and landed 3 job offers in her chosen field. I'm very proud of my little one. She's a dynamo! It's so funny because as a baby she was the shyest child. Now she's an outgoing ball of energy.

It will also be soooooo good to see my extended family as well. Happy times. :amuse:

But to the important things. Two ceremonies means two handbags. And I have casual down time both days - so that means 3 handbags for a 2 day trip. Right?:graucho:

I loved the ocean so much that I got it in a crossbody zip so TECHNICALLY I could let go of the florentine, but I just love how saturated the color is on it haha.. So not yet.. but when I'm ready, I have a plan B to cover the color already haha. DB had some really amazing colors going on for a while for the florentine.

oh these are so cute!

can't wiat to see your new goodie!
You are so right, they did have some gorgeous colors. I'm going to try a different strap I bought and see if that helps me to carry mine. Thank you on the Coach pieces. [emoji4]

Yep, 3! Congratulations on your daughter's graduation. She sounds like she has a very promising future. Don't you leave right after on your vacation? Are you going to post pictures so we can enjoy also?

Gorgeous bag with the best (imo) leather, and such a great neutral colour!!!! And what a great, understanding hubby!!!!
Lovely way to acquire such a special piece! :ps:
enjoy!!!
Aww, thanks for the kind words ksuromax! :hugs:

Gorgeous bag, and it's always more fun when your SO is supportive! It's a beautiful bag and it was there just waiting for you!
Thank you bakeacookie, my husband has always been my best bag enabler! :happydance:
100%!!!!!!!!!!! :ps:

I'm still laughing over the window shopping joke
Thanks papertiger - my DH has always had a great sense of humour!

It's lovely to read the story, and I'm thrilled for you that you found just the colour you've wanted. It looks absolutely beautiful with the gold hardware. Congratulations, it's just stunning :flowers:
Thank you Pessie. I love this colour with GHW on this particular bag, too!

Congrats! I think this is a great neutral and will work with most anything.
Thanks dcooney4, I agree - Etain is a wonderful neutral and is coordinating well with my wardrobe, so far!

Your Bolide is beautiful, More bags! I love etain; great addition!
Thank you So much Mimmy! :hbeat:

Yay! I love it! And I love your story! Such a supportive hubby!
Thanks vink, I am very appreciative of my DH and his support of my bag collection.

This bag is gorgeous. I know next to nothing about Hermes bags, but I do know this one has a lovely, classic shape and the color is my kind of color! I like your SO's sense of humor. Enjoy~
You are very kind - thank you Hobbsy. :flowers:

WHOOP! Yay! This is a gorgeous bag. And it's so wonderful to see how thoughtful you were in your approach. Kudos!!
Thanks Sparkletastic, I appreciate your thoughtful comments! :girlsigh:

Happy Belated Mother's Day to those who celebrate it! :flowers:

Checking in. Nothing much new with me. I wore my PS silver bag yesterday with skinny jeans and a t-shirt from my Alma mater. Absolutely not my usual look but I needed to power shop  so I got into battle gear. LOL! It was fun wearing the bag again. It's very convenient to wear crossbody which I "forgot". It definitely helped to continue to make me feel content with my silver bags. So thanks again, ladies.

I did a dry run for my packing as I've never held myself to just one carry on and a backpack for a 19 day trip.

Elation when it all fit with 25% of the room still remaining. Devastation when I checked and realized my much beloved suitcase no longer meets US and Intl size guidelines (how have I not been stopped carrying it before?) :panic:

So I bought a smaller suitcase. :frown:

I silently thanked my Daddy and pulled out every trick he had taught me on how to pack efficiently based on his time in the Navy. I rolled Items tightly, used packing cubes and compression packing envelopes, stuffed things inside each other like Russian nesting dolls, etc. to help make it all fit. Packing was complicated because we will always change into dressy wear for dinner and evening activities. It's also complicated because we'll start in Paris where it will be chilly and rainy and end in Rome which will be sunny and warm. :whut:

So, whew! I thought I'd share with you all that I managed to cram in a 20" x 14" x 9" (56 x 45 x 25) carryon. I flip flop from feeling over packed to under packed by the minute.

• Trench coat w/ detachable hood
• 2 pair skinny jeans
• 1 pair slacks
• Cashmere cardigan
• 3 casual sleeveless / short sleeve tops
• 2 dressy sleeveless tops
• 2 transitional day / evening long sleeve tops
• 2 sweaters
• 1 fitted tunic top for leggings / jeans
• 3 transitional day / evening maxi dresses
• 2 sundresses
• 1 dressy LBD
• 1 clubby dress
• 1 black transitional day/evening jumpsuit
• 1 light wrap
• 3 pair socks
• 2 pr leggings - for super casual days, pjs, under maxi dresses if it's cold, etc
• 2 pj tops
• 1 pair tights
• 3 convertible bras
• 7 pair underwear
• Ankle booties
• Strappy stilleto sandals
• Walking flat sandals (still cute but super supportive)
• Blingy flat sandals
• Packable tote bag
• Packable duffle (for purchases)
• Instyler Wet & Dry (I won't travel 3 feet without this gift from the gods)

Everything is shades of black, white, grey, pink or turquoise to mix and match. But they all have beautiful materials or interesting design shape so I don't look blah. LOL! I plan to buy 2 silk scarves this week to add pops of color to some completely neutral outfits. Wish me luck. LOL!

My toiletries, electronics, jewelry, snack, water bottle, kindle, etc will go in my backpack. I'm wearing my biker jacket and ballet flats with my travel outfit so I'll have those item available to mix in. I'm also carrying my LV LM II BB in my back pack along with my travel stuff. Just one "real" bag and the packable tote. Aaaaaggghhhh!!! :whut: LOL!

I bought two interesting things I wanted to share in case you may want them for your travels.

1) White + Warren cashmere travel wrap. I've wanted one of these for a while (my BFF has several) but never got around to buying one. I got these for DD and me (I got the essential size for her because she's a tiny 5" v my amazon 5'8". LOL!) its great because you can wear it 12 ways including as a jacket, shawl, shrug, and of course various scarf tying styles etc. (this is obviously not me in the picture)
View attachment 3699706
2) Scrubba thingy. It allows you to hand wash clothes on the road better than just doing it in a hotel sink. You put your clothes, detergent (Woolite packs) and water inside. Then your knead and roll the thing to wash. This will be hilarious for DD and me to do during the trip.
View attachment 3699707

3) Velcro strap. I'm putting this around my LV (vertically) since it's a flap for the few times I feel I may need extra security. It's black and with tha bag having a chain and other design elements I figure it won't be super noticeable. View attachment 3699746
Stellar packing job - I admire your packing skills!

What a great story, congrats on your gorgeous Bolide! :hbeat:
Thanks ElainePG, I am enjoying taking her everywhere! ;)

Great bargain!!!
:yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:
Pretty! Not very familiar with this brand....but black leather [emoji7][emoji7][emoji7] how can you go wrong?! Enjoy ~
BV, cervo (deerskin), hobo, indeed all around winning deal!
Ooh... it looks smooshy and I bet it smells fantastic! A workhorse indeed, but also stylish! :hbeat:
thank you, Elaine! :ty: it needs a bit of refreshing clean up, but she is really great and i already see her adorned with my new (AUTHENTIC!!!!) AMcQ scarf!!! :D

Love love love your Bolide!! It's one of the H bags that I would want to have one day. And your hubby is cute!
Thank you msd_bags for your sweet comments, I am very happy with my Bolide. I hope you add one to your collection, they are beautiful! I agree with you, after 25 years together my DH still knows how to make laugh and how to spoil me! :giggle:

You have been so patient waiting for the right color, and it's beautiful! Much better than a black bag, for sure. Thanks for sharing your story.
Dear tenKrat, thank you for reinforcing that I didn't need to follow my natural tendency to choose black!:yes:

My presentation during the hearing yesterday went well. There will be 2 more provincial legs and then 1 final evidentiary hearing where I will sit in the witness stand just like in a court hearing. Anyway, I felt confident yesterday thanks to you ladies.

Here was me after I got back to the office. I also used the Tod's bag as laptop bag/documents case. It looked elegant and I actually received compliments. My only issue is the weight. With all the stuff in, it weighed a ton!

You look lovely and I like your McQueen!

@More bags congrats on your new edition, the color is beautiful!
Thank you eggtartapproved, I love this bag in Etain!

Embellishment has been big in handbags the past couple of years. So maybe others have some great bags to show.

I have 2 bags but they aren't great. LOL! As much as I love "sparkle", I'm hesitant to invest in embellished bags because they can get dated quickly or my taste will change.

I only have two embellished bags and they hold up the "low rent" part of my collection.

• No name pewter leather studded crossbody
I keep this bag for going to semi dodgy neighborhood type places. For example, in my hometown there is a very popular place people like to go to for watching ball games etc. It's not in the best area, so if I go, I take this bag. lol!

• Aldo beaded clutch
I don't like spending money on evening bags but I go to a lot of formal events. This bag goes with almost everything at a teeny price.

View attachment 3701109
Great clutches - the Aldo beaded clutch is awesome!

I don't have any bags embellished or bedazzled. I have a Coach tea rose pouch and I have a small clutch that came from the collaboration Coach and Rodarte.
View attachment 3701136View attachment 3701138
Love both of these, so pretty!

Inexpensive satin evening bag, tiny beaded bag, and Mz Wallace leather studded angus pouch.
Great selection, that tiny beaded bag is lovely!

I have a semi-embellished vintage evening bag that I carry for dressy occasions when I don't need to have my phone with me (or it can go in The Hubster's pocket, LOL!). It's from the 1940s, and is made of an embellished fabric called cordé. It isn't beaded, it's more like corduroy, but it has sort of a beaded look to it. The handle is lucite.

Eek! Sorry for the huge pictures!!!

Your Bamboo GP is total eye candy!

I need to dig out some of my beaded bags (some go back to the 1920s)

Meanwhile here are some of my more embellished bags I already have pictures of:

Gucci Leather Hearts Joy Boston (upper-left) and Gucci suede studded Babushka Boston (lower-right)

Off to find some more...xxx
Your bag collection is stunning - the patchwork vintage bag is amazing! Your bag storage closet is like a museum of gorgeous artifacts! How do you choose which bag to wear everyday?

Off to a short trip with my red Massaccesi midi Minerva.

I am a fan of red bags and the colour on this one is perfect!

Eek! Just barely talked myself out of buying a bag. It was nothing I needed or had thought of buying. It's not even one of. E colors I typically love. Madness! :facepalm:Luckily, the thought of having to share my "crime" here helped me stay strong.

I have GOT to stay off of my favorite bag buying haunts when I'm trying to be good.
Way to stay strong!

Sorry for being absent. I'm just very busy and the time just flew by. It's Thursday night here now. I hope it's not too late to join. [emoji4]

I don't have many embellished pieces and all are retired pieces. I keep them for sentimental reason or well, I know they will probably worth nothing if I want to sell or just become a meaningless piece if I were to give them away, so I just keep them.

First of all, this bag is a gift from my mom. I wore it some time when I got it and I actually like its look and the embroidery. I just don't know why I haven't reached to it for years. I guess I just have too many bags, but I still like it.

View attachment 3702492

I got this one as a souvenir from a short trip with my company. I think it's a fun piece and it's cheap. Never use it really. But I like the color on it.

View attachment 3702493

Guess who I found? Yeah... I've been thinking about selling this bag for some time, but just couldn't find it. I couldn't found it for the red week, but find it for this week. It's cute and I looked everywhere just to find it and have one. I know it's just so so small, but I hope one day it might work? Am I crazy for keep holding on?

View attachment 3702495

And this is the clutch I meant to find to photograph for this week which led me to find the Prada. I got this for some wedding years ago, but ended up using something else. So, it remains unworn. It's not really my usual piece, but I have a knack of getting crazy stuff sometimes. It's beaded and embroider like this on both sides. I like it enough, but I just don't wear this kind of stuff. I don't think I got it that expensive though. Probably some cheap find I found at the Indian craft market.

View attachment 3702497

And since it's beady week. ;)

View attachment 3702498

I hope I have a better photography skill. [emoji28]
Great embellished bags!

I wish i had this power of resistance...
could not pass up this one... 30% of the store tag and pretty descent condition, and i know it's going to be a work horse...

 lol
i knew i'd get supported here by the best gang of partners in crime :ghi5: :hugs:
it's not 30% off, but 30% of the store value, in other words, 70%off
It's a gorgeous bag in a style you love. Wow, 70% off - your shopping skills are fierce!:yahoo:
