I have a semi-embellished vintage evening bag that I carry for dressy occasions when I don't need to have my phone with me (or it can go in The Hubster's pocket, LOL!). It's from the 1940s, and is made of an embellished fabric called cordé. It isn't beaded, it's more like corduroy, but it has sort of a beaded look to it. The handle is lucite.

That's really cool!

It seems all the bejeweled or studded bags tend to be small.

It adds weight, so it's best on smaller bags.

I don't have any bags embellished or bedazzled. I have a Coach tea rose pouch and I have a small clutch that came from the collaboration Coach and Rodarte.

This is exactly what I was thinking when I saw dc's post saying all the embellished have been small. Someone has to have the embellished Dolce's, Gucci's etc from the last few years. The embellished trend has been so huge!
