Going to Oahu. [emoji4]
Hope you'll be able to go again! Everyone says they want to return over and over again.

I'd have to manage my returns between Hawaii and England lol

Oh how wonderful, have you been before?
I would so love to go again, we had a few days on Oahu, stayed at the Pink Palace on Waikiki beach, it was an amazing experience. Our main stay was on Kauai which was very beautiful and peaceful so Waikiki was a totally different experience.
If/when we go again I'd love to do Maui..................and have to go to Kauai again and see more of Oahu so at least a month or maybe two  The flights went on forever

Have a wonderful holiday, I am very envious :crybaby:

Thanks to everyone for their kind words of encouragement about my Bolide. I have admired papertiger's and Pessie's Bolide pics in this thread. I have admired this bag for years, in pictures, in reveals and in person. I stalked this bag in my boutique every time they brought one in. I had trouble choosing the right colour for me. I admired Black (lots of black bags in my collection already), I didn't like Gold with my skin tone, I didn't want Etoupe as I already had it in an Evelyne. Last year I looked at Bleu Nuit and Prunoir and couldn't decide - maybe I should just get Black? For the past month I have been looking at the online site and had saved screen shots of the Bolide in Bordeaux, Bleu Nuit and Etain. I hadn't seen Etain in real life. I was in a consignment shop on Thursday and looked at a gorgeous Hermes silver cuff. The price was almost what I would have expected for retail price so I left it behind. I thought maybe I'll just pop into my local boutique and see what inventory they have for silver cuffs. They didn't have what I was looking for in silver. I did, however, notice an Etain Bolide 31 and I just about jumped out of my skin, heart racing ... May I please try this bag?!? I tried it on, loved the colour and snapped a pic. While I was looking around my husband texted me. I said I was window shopping to which he replied 'do we need new windows?' ha ha. I sent him a pic that I had just taken (the lighting was poor). I texted that I had stalked this bag for years and they have it in the colour I have been looking for. Then I went home. After I got home, he texted 'then grab it, it's a tough find.' I nearly fainted. We were busy driving our kids to different activities that night so nothing could happen at the boutique. I thought about it all night, googled all kinds of pictures, looked through 'Ode to the bolide' thread again (which I've done many times before), contemplated how this bag would fit with my wardrobe, my existing bag collection and my lifestyle. Friday came and after I had finished all of my jobs, errands and regular tasks for the day I headed back to the boutique to pick up my bag!

This bag is gorgeous. I know next to nothing about Hermes bags, but I do know this one has a lovely, classic shape and the color is my kind of color! I like your SO's sense of humor. Enjoy~

@dcooney4

I like your fish painting!

And I think Bally's current lineup of bags might fit the bill for your summer bag. If you wait till summer then boutique has 30-40% off the current line too!

There's a beautiful Bernina tote, the vernier edelweiss, and the Supra totes.

Yes, i did, and they will step in on 17th in case if we don't agree on the resolution by ourselves
thank you :hugs:

Thank you :hugs:
yes, i know, i probably got relaxed and spoilt by my lucky finds

Thank you :hugs:
hope it will not get there, but yes, i keep PP option in mind
and she is in Italy, that was another factor which annoys me
it's not Asia, where legislation is not that strict, i EU it's completely illegal and i just didn't expect to face this sort of thing, listing authentic pics and actually shipping a fake item...

Thank you all for your kind support, really appreciate it :ty:
I'm so sorry this happened to you. It's hard for those of who are honest to keep reminding ourselves that they're are so many people who aren't. I always think "If they spent this time and effort on getting well educated and working hard. They'd probably have more." But some people are determine to do evil I don't get it.

After buying 2 fake Gucci bags (that I caught because I have everything authenticated) I'm very wary. For a lot of things I pay for a second authentication to be sure. For my Chanels I send them in to be authenticated - not just via pictures. It's frustrating but we have to protect ourselves.
Fingers crossed that it gets resolved properly.
Thanks to all who weighed in on my outfit dilemma. On my way to the hearing now wearing Option C!! If I didn't ask here I would probably have settled with B.

Ksuromax - hope your ebay issue will get resolved soon. I also didn't think somebody from Italy would do such a thing.
I'm late to the party on this but I liked them C, B, A in that order. Hope all went well for you!

WHOOP! Yay! This is a gorgeous bag. And it's so wonderful to see how thoughtful you were in your approach. Kudos!!

Happy Belated Mother's Day to those who celebrate it! :flowers:

Checking in. Nothing much new with me. I wore my PS silver bag yesterday with skinny jeans and a t-shirt from my Alma mater. Absolutely not my usual look but I needed to power shop  so I got into battle gear. LOL! It was fun wearing the bag again. It's very convenient to wear crossbody which I "forgot". It definitely helped to continue to make me feel content with my silver bags. So thanks again, ladies.

I did a dry run for my packing as I've never held myself to just one carry on and a backpack for a 19 day trip.

Elation when it all fit with 25% of the room still remaining. Devastation when I checked and realized my much beloved suitcase no longer meets US and Intl size guidelines (how have I not been stopped carrying it before?) :panic:

So I bought a smaller suitcase. :frown:

I silently thanked my Daddy and pulled out every trick he had taught me on how to pack efficiently based on his time in the Navy. I rolled Items tightly, used packing cubes and compression packing envelopes, stuffed things inside each other like Russian nesting dolls, etc. to help make it all fit. Packing was complicated because we will always change into dressy wear for dinner and evening activities. It's also complicated because we'll start in Paris where it will be chilly and rainy and end in Rome which will be sunny and warm. :whut:

So, whew! I thought I'd share with you all that I managed to cram in a 20" x 14" x 9" (56 x 45 x 25) carryon. I flip flop from feeling over packed to under packed by the minute.

• Trench coat w/ detachable hood
• 2 pair skinny jeans
• 1 pair slacks
• Cashmere cardigan
• 3 casual sleeveless / short sleeve tops
• 2 dressy sleeveless tops
• 2 transitional day / evening long sleeve tops
• 2 sweaters
• 1 fitted tunic top for leggings / jeans
• 3 transitional day / evening maxi dresses
• 2 sundresses
• 1 dressy LBD
• 1 clubby dress
• 1 black transitional day/evening jumpsuit
• 1 light wrap
• 3 pair socks
• 2 pr leggings - for super casual days, pjs, under maxi dresses if it's cold, etc
• 2 pj tops
• 1 pair tights
• 3 convertible bras
• 7 pair underwear
• Ankle booties
• Strappy stilleto sandals
• Walking flat sandals (still cute but super supportive)
• Blingy flat sandals
• Packable tote bag
• Packable duffle (for purchases)
• Instyler Wet & Dry (I won't travel 3 feet without this gift from the gods)

Everything is shades of black, white, grey, pink or turquoise to mix and match. But they all have beautiful materials or interesting design shape so I don't look blah. LOL! I plan to buy 2 silk scarves this week to add pops of color to some completely neutral outfits. Wish me luck. LOL!

My toiletries, electronics, jewelry, snack, water bottle, kindle, etc will go in my backpack. I'm wearing my biker jacket and ballet flats with my travel outfit so I'll have those item available to mix in. I'm also carrying my LV LM II BB in my back pack along with my travel stuff. Just one "real" bag and the packable tote. Aaaaaggghhhh!!! :whut: LOL!

I bought two interesting things I wanted to share in case you may want them for your travels.

1) White + Warren cashmere travel wrap. I've wanted one of these for a while (my BFF has several) but never got around to buying one. I got these for DD and me (I got the essential size for her because she's a tiny 5" v my amazon 5'8". LOL!) its great because you can wear it 12 ways including as a jacket, shawl, shrug, and of course various scarf tying styles etc. (this is obviously not me in the picture)
IMG_3335.JPG
2) Scrubba thingy. It allows you to hand wash clothes on the road better than just doing it in a hotel sink. You put your clothes, detergent (Woolite packs) and water inside. Then your knead and roll the thing to wash. This will be hilarious for DD and me to do during the trip.
IMG_3336.jpg

3) Velcro strap. I'm putting this around my LV (vertically) since it's a flap for the few times I feel I may need extra security. It's black and with tha bag having a chain and other design elements I figure it won't be super noticeable. IMG_3339.jpg
