2017 resolution - shopping my own bag and wallet collection. Any one else?

Can I also ask accessories advice ladies. Sorry I've not been posting a lot lately. It's because I have a big presentation tomorrow. It's at a public hearing called for by the regulator regarding the regulatory application filed by our company. I can't choose my accessory for the outfit.

I've decided to do away with stiff corporate look and instead go dressy. Black loose blouse and black slim fit slacks, and heels. I rarely do all black so I feel I need to accessorize so as not to look like I'm in mourning. A scarf would have been great but I just accessorized with scarf last week and a lot of people in that venue will be coming tomorrow. I want a different look.

The combination I like the most is C, but I'm a bit not sure if the look is more for evening/party. I also like B but the necklace is just costume jewelry and I'm a bit conscious about that. A is just a bit stiff somehow.

Depending on which necklace, I will adjust my other jewelry pieces. Which do you prefer? Help please. Excuse the not so clear pictures as these were just taken (night time now). Thanks!

and she is in Italy, that was another factor which annoys me
it's not Asia, where legislation is not that strict, i EU it's completely illegal and i just didn't expect to face this sort of thing, listing authentic pics and actually shipping a fake item...

Little rant here....

I purchased a A McQ skull scarf at evil bay a couple of weeks ago
at about 50% of retail price, so it was not that CHEAP to suspect something fishy
all pics were pretty legit
2 days ago it arrived (seller shipped from Italy without proper tracking code, what she gave me was totally not working, random numbers and 1 letter) and as soon as i opened the envelope immediately i knew i was scammed....
tag was wrong, care tag was not present at all, hanging tag was saying 2006 03
is anybody going to believe that???
I immediately contacted the Seller and requested return, she was denying it was a fake (how silly!!) and finally offered me a price refund. I declied that offer and requested full refund inc both shippings, and she said she could not accept return shipping fee of 30-40$
I said, fine, i will post with the cheapest option.
So i shipped it today in the same plain envelope with all "as received" and as it was cheapest option of 7$ there was no tracking code.
She is requesting it now, and i am worried, if she will deny reciept in the end.... and will refuse to return my money....
The funniest thing is that she is still insisting it is legit, and her reasoning is that my opinion is not professional.
Excuse me??? For a minute, i still can see the difference between the scarf on the pics in her listing (obviously, stolen from another sourse) and that lame fake that i received!
It doesn't even have "100% silk" tag....

So sorry to hear this happened to you. I hope you get to a satisfactory resolution quickly!

Best wishes with your regulatory hearing. I think most people will not remember what you wore other than that you looked professional. I think you should wear what gives you the most confident feeling when you put it on! You'll rock the hearing.

@More bags I can't wait to see your new bolide, etain is utterly gorgeous I swopped into mine this morning ready to go shopping. I have to re-shop a t-shirt I bought last week, it's a pink/apricot in-between kind of colour and I love it, butttttt.... first time wearing and I spill curry on it which (of course) will NOT come out - typical (might have to get 2 this time!)

I admired Black (lots of black bags in my collection already), I didn't like Gold with my skin tone, I didn't want Etoupe as I already had it in an Evelyne. Last year I looked at Bleu Nuit and Prunoir and couldn't decide - maybe I should just get Black? For the past month I have been looking at the online site and had saved screen shots of the Bolide in Bordeaux, Bleu Nuit and Etain. I hadn't seen Etain in real life. I was in a consignment shop on Thursday and looked at a gorgeous Hermes silver cuff. The price was almost what I would have expected for retail price so I left it behind. I thought maybe I'll just pop into my local boutique and see what inventory they have for silver cuffs. They didn't have what I was looking for in silver. I did, however, notice an Etain Bolide 31 and I just about jumped out of my skin, heart racing ... May I please try this bag?!? I tried it on, loved the colour and snapped a pic. While I was looking around my husband texted me. I said I was window shopping to which he replied 'do we need new windows?' ha ha. I sent him a pic that I had just taken (the lighting was poor). I texted that I had stalked this bag for years and they have it in the colour I have been looking for. Then I went home. After I got home, he texted 'then grab it, it's a tough find.' I nearly fainted. We were busy driving our kids to different activities that night so nothing could happen at the boutique. I thought about it all night, googled all kinds of pictures, looked through 'Ode to the bolide' thread again (which I've done many times before), contemplated how this bag would fit with my wardrobe, my existing bag collection and my lifestyle. Friday came and after I had finished all of my jobs, errands and regular tasks for the day I headed back to the boutique to pick up my bag!

That stinks! Why do people have to be that way?! I'm sorry that happened to you. eBay should have no problem making sure you get your money back, at least I hope they wouldn't?! Maybe you'll need to put a stop on the PayPal or credit card payment? Aggravating to the honest people.

I can't even comprehend with all these 'evil bay' buyers [emoji35]. Going by the trend i'm sure ebay will end up siding with her if you raise a dispute. WTF
