Ohhhh, I want to play in your jewelry boxes, I know there's more than one! Love jewelry, have some passed down to me to opals and garnets from my ex to some small artisans work, mostly silver pieces on those. I love them all, the brand/price makes me no difference, within reason! [emoji41] If I love it, I love it. Earrings are my favorite thing. [emoji173][emoji173][emoji173][emoji173] yep, I could have a field day with your jewelry.
Deal! Get your boxes along and come over!!

Received a new parcel with more scarves!!! Just look how it works with my enamel silver pieces!!
Very pretty and a great match!
ITA!

TBH I do like some branded pieces, I'd love a VCA Cadena watch for example (pref from 1940s but hey ho, not gonna happen) but I also like going to places like Florence and staring into the windows of little artisanal jewellers that have hand-crafted through their families for centuries with regional traditions. Most brands I like are obviously not what (most) others are into it seems (Theo Fennell, Stephen Webster, Elizabeth Gage, Scandinavian mid-century Modern etc). Finding a beautiful stone and/or designer who will something just for you is so much more what jewellery is about.
I completely agree about the custom pieces. I will hunt a stone and / or work on a design with a jewelry. I love those the most!

Well, my packages yielded extremes. LOL! From bad to good. I hated the bag. The dresses were blah. They're all going back immediately. It looks like I'll have to go into a store to buy dresses this season. (Gawd, how I hate to go shopping in a store!!! :frown: I would rather have a tooth pulled. I really wish I'd gotten the shopping gene.)

The Burberry silver lamb trench, however, is killer!! :yahoo: I love this coat!! And, it fits well too. I had to take a leap of faith as I don't own any other Burberry items. It's the tensiest bit big but that works so I can wear it over sweaters. But, still, belted or hanging open wearing something lightweight or sleeveless underneath, it still looks great. It will be perfect for date nights and evening.

This is the stock photo from Yoogi's. IMG_3213.JPGGoing back to our jewelry discussion. With me loving to wear statement pieces like a silver trench, I certainly can't wear busy jewelry too. LOL! A girls gotta make some hard calls.

I love this coat.
I had a silver jacket when I was young made out of fabric that supposedly astronauts used, but it was actually a race car jacket. I got more compliments on that thing and it was super thin but in the dead of winter I only wore a tee shirt under it.

I like them. Lol....I don't know if anyone else would. I used to wear jewelry every day and a watch. I got out of the habit and don't wear things like I should.

I'm sure we would appreciate them. Even if they aren't my style, I like seeing how everyone styles themselves. It can be inspiration to try something new!

I used to wear a watch daily too, but stopped cuz I didn't want to keep removing it for the metal detector every day.

OMG I love it! Fits right in with this week's them too.

I have a gold sheepskin, it makes other people smile and it keeps me warm. You will knock 'em dead in your B trench

It sounds like a really fun jacket. Especially in a race car style.

Thanks! I was thinking it was fun coincidence that I got this during metallics week.

I think you and I are definitely metallics fans. I also have a gold "blue jean" style jacket that's fun to wear. I remember when you were contemplating those amazing gold Gucci Dionysus boots. I can't recall if you bought them but I've thought about how beautiful and "wow" they were. Did you buy them? How did they turn out?

On the other end of fashion, I bought a nylon tote for my trip. :hrmm: Giani Bernini foldable packable tote.
IMG_3214.JPG
The positives: it's packable, it's lightweight, it was super cheap from Macy's with coupons (under $30), it's size doesn't overwhelm me visually, and the straps are comfortable

The negatives: it's so neutral it's bland. :yucky: It's the black hole of bags. I'm going to have to tie something to this thing. LOL! I'm thinking of getting a scarf to tie on it. <yikes!> I just need to decide what I'm wearing so I can get a scarf with those colors.

I know I'll never "wear" this bag again and it surely won't be counted in my collection. LOL! I'll use it to shop at a farmers market or to lug stuff to a picnic. But at the price that's fine. In any case, I feel good that I didn't waste money on an almost bag. I'd have had awful bag buying hangover. And I hate that feeling.

So I'll take this and my little LV with me. Now to figure out what clothes to take.
