That is not counting some others. I have a longchamp, mbmj, coach and Mz Wallace's
Love this Longchamp, dcooney!
And here's my story about this beloved bag of mine. [emoji4]

It's the first bag that I posted here and actually something that brought me to this thread 2 years ago. [emoji4]

I saw it came out and I was super skeptical. I think it'll definitely be a fad, but being a curious cat that I am, I checked it out and fell for it. I checked it out in store too many time, but couldn't make up my mind to get it. Then, it was sold out, the new season colors came out. I was quite sad coz I think it's gorgeous and probably is the perfect color and leather this bag ever made.
Time passed, people whom got this bag started to complain about it turning sloppy and loses its shape. Most of them are not so intrigued with the idea probably because they want it to hold its shape. When I heard, I feel even sadder coz I want mine to be slouchy.

A couple season after that, Celine changes the leather so my chance of getting this bag in this exact leather turns even slimmer.

Finally, while browsing an IG of the reputable local consignment shop, I found this bag again. Look new, no damaged, in the like-new condition, color, and leather type that I want! And the price is crazy cheap!

After I contacted the seller asking for more details and everything, I called up a friend of mine to ask if I should get it. It feels like a sign to me and I've been looking at this bag for too long (a 2-3 years, I think?) Anyway, I slept on it for one more night before I contacted the seller and paid for it.

It's been 3 years now and some people may say it's going out of style, but I still love my "Floppy" dearly. [emoji4] She makes me feel so polished while the floppy leather just match my taste. I never regret getting her at all. One of my Best Buy ever. And yes, she makes me know I can wear handheld just fine, something I know I wouldn't do coz I'm not a handheld girl. [emoji6] (something you do for love. [emoji16])

So here's my Floppy. [emoji4] Please pardon my old photo. [emoji28] A Celine mini luggage in Chocolate Grain leather. [emoji4]

LV Viva Cite MM, Fendi clutch and vintage Coach Madison Carlyle in maple.

I don't think that the Viva Cite ended up being very popular. It was the first premier handbag that my DH bought me and it brings back memories of a special time, so this one stays in my collection. I still use it from time to time.

The Fendi clutch had some serious wear. I sent it off to the Leather Pros in CA early this year; just need to start using it again. [emoji3]

Coach Madison Carlyle, gifted to me by my aunt. Made in Italy. I also have her cousin in mandarin. I had this bag for sale earlier this year. A lot of questions, but no reasonable offers. I am considering gifting this one to someone.

I know that monogram canvas bags sometimes elicit strong opinions. I thought that I would never add another one to my collection. But never say never as I am considering one as my solitary bag purchase this year!

Hi Ladies ... your browns all look wonderful. Here are mine:

LV Westminster...my winter zippered up work bag (one of them)
Gucci tote ... summer work bag due to open top
Ferragamo Abby ... does no harm
Longchamp Foulonne saddlebag ... a favorite
Coach Borough (taupe always reads brown to me) a work bag the doesn't work, unfortunately
Beautiful brown collection!

I will show some of mine . This is a photo I took towards the end of last year but I still have them all.

Two more!
Awesome browns, which ones do you use most often?

This thread moves so fast that, like life according to Ferris Bueller, you might miss it! While I catch up, here are my browns. I was oversaturated with browns at the beginning of the year and have now turned my Fauve Kelly into a black Birkin, and my gold Birkin has gone to a new owner who adores it beyond words (she was literally crying when she opened the box, she even posted it on YouTube - this brought me to tears...so happy my first B is now someone else's lifelong dream!)
I am now comfortable with my browns, even though only two of these get regularly carried - I don't really wear camels/tans much and never wear brown, so these are for wear with jeans and cream colors. In other words...DONE :cloud9:

My very first designer bag, LV Speedy 25. I paid 320 euros for it (I think) many many years ago in Paris. I had saved and saved. As you can see I loved this bag HARD :p I will never let it go.
LV Monogram Blocks pochette (it's mostly brown!) - only including this for honesty's sake. It should probably go.
Barenia Birkin 35 in Fauve, PHW. I really don't like these twillies on this particular bag but I haven't found ones I can stand and I'm trying to protect the handles - I use a lot of creams and oils.
Kelly 28 from 1952 (!!!) in Noisette box calf GHW. I almost sold this but it's such a piece of history....it seemed a shame.
Kelly 28 from 2015 in Gold Togo PHW.
I am loving everything you chose to keep - beautiful pieces! The Barenia is gorgeous and both of your Kellys are amazing! And yes, I totally follow your Ferris Bueller reference. :amuse:

And here're my Browns. I'm just back from a trip so I'm just too tired to take new photo. [emoji20] I found my first "silver strand of hair" this morning! Arg! As much as I don't think I worry about it that much, I start to heavily feel like my current stress level and bad, unhealthy lifestyle are taking a toll on me. I got myself a personal trainer last year, but haven't seen him since February. And I really need to get healthier. The guy is actually good, but I just feel like I don't have time to go to the gym. [emoji20]

Anyway, here're my Browns.

I don't have a shot of Massaccesi Dark Taupe Aura I got last year. It's a very nice bag. I'll post it later here when I'm not too tired. [emoji20]

I keep this whole lot like last year.

What a lovely story! I agree, something we just do for love and i really happy you've found yours, fashion comes and goes, true love and great leather stays

Another bag story.

During my first visit to London, I dragged everyone with me (BFF, DBF, Mom) to LV. I was so determined to get the Maison keychain.

While being taken care of by the sweetest SA, I was distracted by the moving shelves they have in New Bond Street.

It's seriously a cool way to display bags. Lol that boutique is gorgeous.

Anyway, I had the funds, and of course, LV is cheaper in Europe, even with the severely unfavorable exchange rate.

After purchasing the Maison keychain and the Pochette NM, I point out the Alma.

Mom and BFF say no, I've spent a lot (remember that Aspinal bag I've yet to show?) plus we had no room in our luggage and we had to catch a train to Scotland.

So Alma was left behind while I continued my UK tour.

But that didn't stop me.

I come home, still in love with the indigo Alma, I read up on caring for epi leather.

Literally the next day after landing back home, I ask DBF if I can get my Alma. He's such an enabler and takes me to the mall to get my Alma. I brought the Maison keychain and clip it on as soon as it's mine.

I then returned to the boutique 10 minutes later, I had to buy the matching epi strap haha.

This purchase connected me with another great SA, which began my slippery slope into LV. This SA connected me to the entire staff and managers, which is why I am loyal to that boutique.

This bag is amazing. It's subtle in branding, so it's very under the radar. I get the most compliments on this, due to the somewhat unique shape and texture.

It carries a decent amount, including an iPad mini.

The leather is ridiculously durable, having survived many bumps, surprise rain, and toppling over.

There's feet at the bottom, a major plus for such a structured bag. The microfiber lining is easy to clean with a lint roller. There's two slip pockets inside, handy for my work badge.

The con is that the structure makes it bulky at times, it's full leather and can get heavy if too much is in it.

Sometimes I find it too plain, and it teeters into my sell pile, but then I end up loving it all over again.

I still remember that first post of yours here about this bag. I'm glad to note you are still loving her!!
Btw, what color and leather midi Minerva did you get? For me the strap drop is one of the features that I primarily love about that bag. So comfortable! Let us know how you like yours.

Maybe this bag is really meant to be? Do people in your circle know that this is an LV? Because I am happy that my co-workers do not know. They complimented me when they first noticed me carrying mine but I think they had no idea of the brand.

One thing that bothers me about this is if you do not place your stuff well inside when you have a lot, the bag sort of waves at the top, along the zipper. Is it just my bag or does this happen to you?

This is a lovely collection, QF. I love that you still own your very first designer bag, and that you had to save for it. That makes the memory quite special! And I am also impressed by your 1952 Kelly. What a treasure. There must be a story behind this bag! Was it handed down to you by someone in your family? I'm guessing so, since how else would you know the date so precisely?

This is a great story, bake! Isn't it wonderful that DBF is a bit of an enabler? I'll bet you enable him just a bit too, with whatever his "hobbies" are! :amuse:

I only own one brown bag: this Valentino Rockstud tote, which I got "free" last summer with Nordstrom Notes. I don't carry it often, but it's useful on days when I want to carry a very lightweight open bag. The strap is adjustable, so it can be carried either on the shoulder or cross body. The leather is supple and smells fab! (Eek! Am I the only one who loves to sniff her handbags???)
