Today it is raining so I decided to wear a ziptop bag. I pulled my Lv totally mm in de and was delighted how well it worked in this kind of weather. Usually I try to choose a less expensive bag for bad weather . What do you use in the rain?

I'm a bit late to answer, dcooney, but I either use a Longchamp Le Pliage or my big Marc Jacobs black leather, hobo. The leather on the MJ is thick, and I just wipe it dry as soon as I can!

I don't like changing wallets either. I like a wallet to be so familiar that getting out money and cards and such is second nature and really quick - I hate fiddling about at the till, it's just embarrassing! So I only have 2 at a time - a continental sized purse which I use most of the time and a small one for very small bags. I use them until they start to show their age and then they get the heave ho :-) I usually sell them, I list them at 99p, and let the auction run - there's a surprising amount of interest in well used purses if they're a popular brand.

Is the Pandora heavy? Asking for a friend.
In the medium size which I have, it's a roomy bag so you could pile a lot in if you were minded to, so it has the capacity to be heavy iykwim. But carrying a regular amount of stuff, no I don't think it's heavy, and the shoulder strap is long enough for me to wear it cross body (might not be for everyone though)

Thank you!!

I do adore the colors the Pandora comes in, but I think it's better for my friend than me.

If its raining I use one of my goatskin pandoras, they are really hardy. I just wipe the rain off, leave them to dry, and it doesn't leave any sign of having been there.
I love goatskin! It is sooooo sturdy and hard wearing while always looking nice. I just sold my goatskin carefree bag and want to replace it with another.

Does anyone know what brands besides Givenchy do goatskin? I don't want to do spend "real" money on a carefree bag so I'd love to find a contemporary or less expensive premier goatskin bag.

Balenciaga
older - silky soft, pre-loved, thus cheaper than new
new - bullet proof, about 1.8k $ +/-

Yep the bag I want is the metallic edge and I'd just find a crossbody strap. But I'm not spending $2k on a bag I'll throw around and abuse. LOL!

So, I'm on the hunt for a new or preloved black, slouchy, mid sized (12" x 10" x 4" approx) crossbody in bullet proof leather $500 or less. Preferably much less because this bag will be dropped on floors, grass, etc. if anyone runs across something like that, let me know.

I got sick and missed 500+ posts so I'm just gonna jump right in. Sorry I've missed so many lovely bags - I did see a bunch of pics as I was trying to catch up. As always. Lovely.

@dcooney4 i have 12 wallets. At one point I had it down to 10 (which was my goal) and aside from my mcm I bought last year have not bought a wallet for quite some time. I was gifted 3 after I stopped buying. Second to bags, wallets are a very close second to what I love buying. This past year though, especially after buying that mini mcm, I've managed to downsize to smaller wallets and have been debating whether to sell my larger ones. I've decided not to at this time since I love all of the ones I have left, and would regret letting any go. I'm just going to rotate through what I have until they wear down.

Hmmm.

Does anyone also have a bag they'd buy spares in if it was discontinued?

I don't know what that would be for me.
Really doubt i'd buy the very same bag... i'd probably just use mine carefully, just to keep it in good shape longer.
The ones i really like i have in multiples, just different colours anyway
6 BV hobos, 6 Bal Days, 5 Venetas, 3 Mulberry Alexas....
