I will try to take a group shot of my SLGs when I get a chance. I try not to as I bury my head in the sand on this. Come to think of it, maybe I should have a group shot on my phone so I can be reminded of what I have constantly so I don't impulse buy more!
This year I added 2 LV bags to my collection. One is the epi Alma PM and one limited edition St Tropez neverfull MM. I don't normally like monogrammed bags but I love St Tropez and was lookingfor a rainy day throw around tote so I had to get it when I visited the store. Very carefree bags!

Dc, here are the main things I've learned the hard way that I'll carry into 2017
• Don't settle ever on anything for any reason! A $5,000 bag that isn't quite right will bug me just as much as a $50 bag that isn't right.
• Plan what I buy! I never buy on impulse any more. I list types of bags I may want (color, size, style) and give them a tick mark if I'd have used that bag INSTEAD of one of the bags I own. When a bag type gets 10+ ticks in a year, I hunt the perfect expression of that type and buy. That way I know the bag fits a real gap in my wardrobe.
• See bags in person. 50% of my mistakes are buying unseen. On new items / brands, I need to see construction quality and materials.
• ONLY buy new or pristine premier - the other 50% of my mistakes are buying contemporary or very good / good condition premier. I will very rarely reach over my premier bags to carry contemporary no matter how cute it is. And a worn preloved premier bag deflates my excitement level for the bag over the whole time I own it.I need to stop seeing these bags as stop gaps.
Yes. The leather bags are the only LV's I'm considering. But like with my LockMe II, there is often a big LV on the front. I'm already going to attract unwanted attention at work / school because I change bags a lot. So having a big LV (or CC, etc) on the front will add insult to injury to the petty observer.
I don't mind adding a bag like that in general to my collection for my "own" time but for the grey and burgundy workhorse bags I want to add, they really need to be low key which makes this very difficult. Thanks! I'm glad they resonate with you!!
I like LV's quality and many of the styles.
Oh, i am already doing it! I am a hobo girl, and i do carry a LOT, so for the sake of mercy to my back and shoulder i am doing "weekend on the light", a small Bottega Veneta Pillow or Balenciaga First are my lil helpers in this mission, they fit a wallet, phones, tissues and lippy

so far only these 2 smaller babies, so my task is easy, one is silver, another bright blue, but i have just bought same Pillow in black for less festive weekends, so i will be fine choosing between 3
And I got a ton of compliments on her. 
So she stays. 
(I'll never buy another Miu Miu. That brand is on my dead to me list like Celine) I'll start hunting the Diorama after I make sure there haven't been issues with peeling. 
I should have just gotten it in the beginning. No issue with the schmutz outside. (Whew!) I paired it with my hot pink suede gloves, hot pink infinity scarf and dark brown (almost) black mink jacket which was a pretty set of saturated color contrasts with lots of texture.
The verdict? I'm keeping her! She'll be my one "the heart wants what the heart wants" bag. Logically, I should sell it. But, I seriously loooooooove wearing this bag.
My silver PS: I got honest with myself and admitted I want to sell both my "casual" silver bags - the PS and the Miu Miu and get one silver bag I love - the silver microcannage Dior Diorama. I've been reluctant to do so because I'll take a bath on both bags as they have horrendous resale.
Oh well. I said I wasn't settling so I need to put my bags where my mouth is.
Bright side. Once I swap out one for two, I'll be at 25 bags. I wonder if I could stay at 25 by carefully swapping out the other 7 bags on the chopping block. That would really make me happy to get my collection to 25 v 28! We'll see.
Chanel flaps, or generally, flap bags. I like the look but it's not really what I will want to wear/crave for on a daily basis. Shoulder bag is just not my first choice of style. I love the lady like crook-of-the arm carry.
Luckily (?) My addiction does not extend to SLGs so I really don't have much. [emoji8]

I'm glad your keeping the nubuck Gucci as well the patent Chanel. I saw how many ticks you had next to it when you posted part of your tick list and thought she wears this a lot it should stay but then right after that you decided it should stay.
