The Lady Dior is such a classic that I belive you can hold on to it.
I only use long strap for emergencies and quick situations. So this has not been a must in my specifications. But that being said, I still appreciate a bag having one. This Gucci doesn't have a long strap. But for emergencies, the handles fit over my shoulders so it's okay. Not for prolonged use this way though as I don't feel comfortable with the look.
Fate really sometimes plays with us, lol. But I see in your later post that you may have found a red Chanel. Just one question though, are you not settling with getting a double flap?I'm a little befuddled and oddly frustrated. I've let myself off ban but I don't see anything I want.
Well, let me restate. I see things I want. I just don't see anything that's a good add to my collection because I'm trying to stay super conscious of not cannabalizing wear.

I think I may have found a red lamb Chanel to replace my red caviar. It's double flap which isn't perfect since I prefer single flap. But the color may actually be better for me. And the price is great.
I need to do a little more recon. Wish me luck. It would be great to find something now and be able to sell the red bag I have during Valentine's Day season.
Wow, that was fast — I thought it would take much longer for you to find the right red lamb Chanel. Do you mind double flaps that much? I’ve never had a single flap, so I guess I’m just used to dealing with the “extra” flap. Still, don’t compromise if it will annoy you!
