@omri

Does your Dark Denim look burnished? I ask because looking at the larger photos on my screen, it appears that @shillinggirl88 's bag is more burnished, so I am just wondering if these were different "releases" of the Dark Denim colour? If you look at the current colourways on Coach.com for example, you will note some colours are burnished (i.e. Bordeaux), and some are not (i.e. Cornflower)
It's burnished, and color saturation depends on lighting. Due to different colors of edgepaint they are from different releases for sure :)

Nope! I am keeping both! Different sizes, different colours, different styles, different uses...so clearly I "need" both :happydance: Besides, there is no way I could choose!

I know, it is pretty - and very different than the pebbled Butterscotch leather on the Rogue.

Thanks Hobbsy! It is hard to capture and I love it - I have nothing else like it for sure.
Hi there are you still loving the mineral I am toying with buying one but can't decide

Did it sell do you have a pic I am looking at buying one but don't like the fringing so will be removing gulp too 70,s for me
You don't have to entirely de-fringe it. I hated the 4 'corner' pieces of fringe because they stuck out like cat whiskers, so I just removed those 4 pieces. The ones that hang down the side of the bag look right, the cat whisker ones just didn't. There are some photos on here somewhere that shows a totally defringed one and partially defringed ones.

Hi! Sorry for the delayed response. Yes! I listed it & it sold within an hour. Probably priced it too low but given the modifications, pricing was a struggle.
Hmm I recently bought a defringed one with my buyer account on ebay within an hour of its listing.. Seller also had a beautiful red one that I debated on, but it's leather snap tab thingy had been cut so I got the mineral instead. The red sold even faster than the mineral.

That tab thing gets in my way, but I don't dare cut it. I think I have 6 saddle bags and 2 Dakota with it, bad design IMO.

Just tuck the tab into the pocket or behind the leather tag. I do that with both my saddles and it does not get in way at all.

I do understand why they have it, but I feel okay not using it.

I do tuck it in, but also keep stuff in the zip pocket so it becomes a bit of a hassle. It's always when I'm rushing that I need to access that pocket and I find myself griping at that piece lol. I don't even carry much, but like to keep eye drops and lotion in there. So here I am, dollop of lotion in the palm of my hand trying to tuck the tab back in without smearing the lotion everywhere.

So, I rather impulsively did a partial defringe tonight of my Mineral Whiplash; I did not mind the lower fringes except they would get all bent up during storage - the longer ones don't get this issue so much as they don't get squished at bottom of dustbag, etc. I just cut them, retied a knot, and glued them. The ones on back aren't pretty but I was able to hide the knots on front ones "behind" the first section. See how that goes; or else I will just remove them and leave the little holes.

Looks good! I removed those on mine too. I hated them because they were stiff and stuck out like cat whiskers. I just removed them and left the hole though, others on here have closed them up nicely like you did.
